Hey Fellas,

I got Monkeybar’s Vacu-Hanger and it works really well… I’ve finally found the time and made up a schedule that consists of a half hour in the morning of hanging + heatup and the same at night. On days that I have the time, I’ll throw in about 20 mins of wet jelq

Anyway, I just wanted to check with whether its okay that my glans is very deformed after using the hanger. I jelq a bit after and it usually returns to mostly normal, then totally normal (but a bit pink) in a few hours.

Is this okay? I’m not getting any water blisters… so that’s not a problem.

Yeah nothing much to worry about from my experience Criot. The last 3rd of my glans seems to take alot of the vacuum effect which can produce some very temporary weird looks.

If you are concerned go for 15 mins…….have a bit of a stretch and massage/jelq for 5 and then do your next 15 for the half hour. Use the extra sleeve too if you arent already that can help.

Speaking of the extra sleeve (I think it’s called the constriction sleeve), do you know exactly how it works?

I’ve also got one of these hangers but I couldn’t find the Instructions for this particular sleeve.

Have a look at MB’s site as there is an instruction page up there now which includes use of the contriction sleeve. There is a link or thread here somewhere on the instruction page.

But basically you are supposed to get it over your dick like a condom and use the hanger as usual with normal sleeve over the top (i have found very frustrating so dont use it as flacid dick not very accomodating).

Yep travelling up the coast on the weekend to get away but weather report says not much good on most of the east coast. Hope the buggers are wrong.

When you say “very deformed”, in what fashion do you mean? You can expect the glans to take on a swollen appearance, lighter in color, and that the overall shape is a bit more like a coke-can. Is this what is happening?

I am uncut and after hanging 7 lbs for about 20-25 minutes my glans takes on a strange shape.
Halfway to the tip things are relative normal (but a little red), the rest is swollen pink and looks like its full with liquid. Usually If I just get a hard on and jelq a little it mostly goes away, except it stays a little pink.

I was just worried that this might be desensitizing my glans or perhaps just incorrect in execution.

That is exactly what happens to me. Lower the weight or hang shorter time if you want to avoid this. Or use the constriction sleeve, that seems to do the trick for people.

On the other hand, I have not noticed anything bad from it either - if anything, my glans has slowly grown, I think. I started out with a film canister, and went on to a foam shaving cap (the first experimental versions) and before I threw out the foam cap thing a while back I tested it again - had to wiggle in my glans where I could just put it in before.

Not that many people have actually reported problems with blisters - mbuc got the first one, when trying out his “simple hanger for uncut guys” for a 2 hour stint, Big Girtha, joe and a few others that I can remember. I have never gotten one, only lymph build-up.

The reason you get lymph build-up and/or blisters is simply that you hang too heavy, too long. That’s the drawback of being comfortable! The solution is to start out at low weight and short sessions to learn your threshhold for lymph build-up; a certain amount of conditioning takes place of the glans (I believe that one should start as low/short as possible and only increase when you are certain you arent getting any gains - going to heavy/long means you condition your dick to withstand heavy loads without deformation, which isn’t really the goal. Not everybody believes this).

In addition to this, you can use the constriction sleeve to keep the tissue in the glans from getting hit as bad with lymph-buildup. Kind of like the socks that old people wear to keep their legs from swelling up.

Thankyou very much for the information, I am just waiting for my Vacu-Hanger to arrive.

I was thinking of starting with a 2 day on 1 day off routine, using 2.2 pounds of weight 4 x 10 minute sessions. I really do not want to get fluid build up or water blisters, but do you think this routine would be enough to start off with.

I will chime in with my 2c. Re your starting routine thats sounds fine GB, i think at that weight you shouldnt have any problems at all. And a bit of fluid build up isnt the devil as such and will quickly dissipate with a massage and some heat.

I would even start with 15mins for 2 sessions and then build your time/weight from there but its all up to the individual.

I believe in starting carefully for a number of reasons - the top one is that I am starting to get a sneaky suspicion that conditioning your dick means arresting your growth - that newbie gains are really all we got, so to speak. Sparky talks of PI’s, others talk of IPR. It all boils down to not overdoing it, and finding that balance is easier by starting low and going slow.

I really have no idea if your plan will give you any gains, but you might want to start out with 2x10 and then 3x10 minute sessions if you don’t “feel” anything.

Thanks for that, this is my last throw of the dice using Monkeybars equipment. Its new, and its different I have been into pe for a year with no gains. I am uncut and hope his hanger and the air pump will work for me. I want to start off quite light, then work up to longer sessions with 5 pounds. I also will use it as an all day stretcher,my dick will not have a chance to turtle.
