Question for people with Monkeybar's Vacu-Hanger or Extender

Im thinking about getting one of these and havent really made up my mind yet. Right now Im using the Wenchette for hanging which works fairly good. There are a few things I dont like about it but for now it does the trick. What Im really needing is a good ADS while Im not hanging and on my of days. I know the Extender is meant for just that and you can hang up to 10lbs I believe but its a good bit higher than the Vacu-Hanger in price. I saw on his site where the Vacu-Hanger comes with a leg strap for ADS but how stealthy is it and can it be worn at work? Ive tried golf weights and I wear them around the house but under my jeans its too bulky. My wife wouldnt want me wearing them out in public and my jeans are rather loose fitting, not tight at all. So.. for the money should I buy the Vacu-Hanger or Extender? Any advice, tips, etc… would be greatly appreciated.

I wear dress pants to work which are plenty loose enough to conceal it nicely. Tight jeans would be a bit of a problem but I wear loose fitting jeans too.

Wearing the Vac-Extender around the waist (metal ring around base, bungee wrapped around back and attached to the vacuum cup) is about as stealthy as it gets.

How about wearing the Vac-Hanger like this or SD as an ADS? Only reason Im considering the Vac-Hanger is because you can hang and ADS with it. I know you can hang with the Extender but how comfortable and well does it hold in comparison to the Vac-hanger?

I tried that this summer, especially when wearing shorts but found it uncomfortable except at pretty low tension. The ring pulling one way and the vacu-hanger pulling the other cut off circulation at higher tension. That was my experience anyway. I wonder about wrapping around the back and fastening the bungee to the opposite leg somehow, thereby avoiding the ring.

I worked my way up to two hours at a time. I usually need to take a leak at about that interval anyway since I’m also trying to stay well hydrated. I’m pretty well convinced that the blisters are a result of a) too much moisture on or around the glans and b) not inserting the glans all the way into the hanger so it presses against the end of the hanger. If the glans is up against the end, the blister can’t form. You then get fluid buildup in the region below the glans but it’s not the same kind of skin so it doesn’t blister, it just gets puffy. I think moisture is the real enemy.

Don’t go straight to 2 hour sessions. Start with half hour sessions and half hour breaks. Gradually work your way up to 1 hour sessions with 1 hour breaks and then 2 hour sessions with at least 1 hour breaks. I have reached 8 or more hours total in a day this way. However, you need to pay attention to discomfort and colour. When it’s working well, the glans expands to fill the hanger, pressing against the walls. It gets lighter in colour not dark and becomes somewhat hard under the negative pressure of the vacuum.

I’ve had no problem whatsoever with blisters. It seems to me that most people have had them during heat/moist conditions? Interesting to see what is reported during the cooler fall and winter.

Bigger, you can wear either the VacHanger or the VacExtender around your waist (“Masaj warrior style” as I think of it after having seen a show on tv years ago where they wore sheaths over the dick and had them strapped up against their abdomens to the side - at least I think it was the Masaj). The only difference is bulk. The VacX is tiny and won’t hardly be noticeable, but the VacH is bigger. If you wear pleated or double pleated pants (chinos, forinstance) that might not be noticed. Flat front pants - like the jeans I wear - the vacH would not go unnoticed.

Thanks guys. I believe I read somewhere the VacX can hang up to 10lbs but isnt the VacH about the same or was it closer to 15? Im not worried too much about that now since Im only at 7.5 with my Wenchette but Im just curious for the future. How large is the head on the VacH in comparison to a golf weight, if youve had experiece with golf weights of course? They are way too bulky to wear in public even with my loose fitting shorts, jeans, slacks, etc…

The VacH is better for hanging more weight: 10 lbs recommended. The VacX is for lighter weight: 5 lbs recommended. For ADS you aren’t likely going to exceed 5 lbs anyway.

I didn’t find Monty’s PE weights too big for public use and as far as I know they are about the same size as golf weights. Regardless, the Vac-H is smaller in diameter and would be less noticeable.

By the way BJ, it is appreciated at Thunder’s if you use the spell checker feature. You were getting a little sloppy with your contractions. :)

Well said.

If you’re using 7.5 lbs on the Wenchette you my find it better to go to 5 lbs with any of the vacuum hangers. They put a different level of tension on the parts involved.

The idea is to get the most gains out of the least effort/tension/weight.

I’m a little confused about the tone of ‘not high enough tension’ as an ADS (wearing it around the waist as mgus suggests). The ADS is only supposed to keep the tissue in an extended state while healing. 5lbs as an ADS is excessive. Monty’s PE weights are a bit less than a pound each. People generally start out wearing one or two and only go to three later on.

Do the least you can to encourage gains. Only up the levels after the gains stop.

Yes that’s true for ADS. I agree that the purpose of an ADS is to keep the tissue in an extended state while healing. I was referring actually to what some of us vacuum hangers have been trying and that is the ADH — All Day Hanger. Using the a leg strap and some surgical tubing (or bungee cord) some of us have been experimenting with relatively high tension for longer periods of time. The advantage for me personally is getting close to hanging tension for lengthy periods of time which is especially handy when I don’t always have the time or privacy to hang a weight from my dick at home.

Biggerjohnson,

I own both the Vacu-Hanger and the VacExtender. I hung for about a month , working up from 5lbs to 8 lbs and saw about a .6 inch gain. I was pretty excited. I’ve ceased hanging since I’ve decided to focus on girth (I’m at 7 BPEL, and would like a little more but I was at 4.5 EG so NEED more there).

I liked both products a lot. I had a bit of a problem of fluid build-up with the VacuHanger so started using the compression sleevs which did the trick.

As mogro mentioned in the previous post I used the VacExtender to pull straight down (I bungeed it to a Puppy dog collar strapped below my knee) at relatively high tension. While this was doable with the Hanger, the Extender is far stealthier.

If you can afford it get both. If you can only afford one you have to decide on priorities. If stealth is more important get the Extender which excels at ADS but is mediocre as a pure hanger. If the ability to hang significant weight is more important, get the VacuHanger which excels as a hanger but is mediocre as an ADS (due to bulk).

My .02.
