Second Week With the Bib Hanger

Well I’m just about done with my second week of hanging with the Bib. At this point I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I just don’t feel that good of a stretch. I know that hanging and manual stretching feel different, but I feel that I’m not even fatigued at all from hanging. I’m doing 5lbs at 3 sets of 20 minutes straight down. I remember when I used to stretch things would get sore the next day, not too bad but just enough so that I knew something was happening. I was even in the middle of a nice multi-week span of length gain but that stopped when I started hanging. I must be doing something wrong, right? I feel that I’m wrapping right so I don’t think that’s it. I even tighten the hanger REALLY tight so I doubt that is an issue (although maybe I’m supposed to tighten even more?). I’ve been thinking of increasing to 7.5 lbs but then again I really don’t know what to do. Any ideas?

5 lbs. might be too light. You can try going up to 7.5 and see how that feels.
I think I started right out of the gate at 10 lbs.

Another option might be to lie on your back on your bed with your feet on the floor or your legs straight out on a chair while you hang down…also, while you’re doing this, lift your pelvis up (i.e. with your ass still on the bed, move your hips towards your shoulders while you’re hanging). Another way to say that is, imagine there’s a girl riding you on top and you’re trying to get yourself as deep inside of her as you can - the motion that you’d use to make that possible is what I’m talking about.
You can also do the pelvic lift while standing, but it can get tiring.

Try that and see if you feel a stretch after a session.

Looks like you’ve been gaining pretty good though, last time I checked I think you were 7.5”.

Speaking of 7.5, I think it might be time to up your weight. I just moved up to 8.5 from 7.5, and good god is it stretching good. I may have to step back down for my remaining sets.

Redwood - Yea I think I’ll up the weight tonight and see how it feels. I’m actually at ~7.8 now but all of my gains came pre-hanging. Since I started hanging I don’t think I have made any gains.

Thorne - I’m going to try to lie on my back to see if it helps. Last time I tried this I felt a very intense stretch but it felt mostly like skin so I didn’t think much of it.

Hopefully I can get back to my previous state of steady gaining.

I think you need to stretch enough skin before hanging really starts to get felt. I felt fatigue right in the beginning, though it is a lot deeper feeling now, and if I feel the skin at the base with my fingers it is not pulled tight anymore, I can pinch it, the weight is all on the internal structures of the penis and ligs.

I will also note that before I did hanging I did and still do fowfers, which have stretched out the skin well.(But not in a gross way or anything.)
But this could attribute to why I felt fatigue from the get go.

If it is skin that’s stretching, then try using Theraband as a wrap (presuming that you’re not, if you are, then nevermind). Or tighten the hanger a little bit more, but not so much to cause pain or cold in the head.

Thanks for the advice Thorne and Redwood. I just finished one set with 7.5 and it was definitely more intense. I think I’ll stick to this for a while and hope for the best.

I use both an ace bandage and a Theraband for a wrap. I think my biggest problem is that I have lose skin on my penis, sort of like being uncircumcised but I’m not. It’s a little hard to describe but I can easily move the skin around (like for dry jelquing). Maybe this is what causes my skin to stretch so much. I don’t know if i should pull it back and wrap over it or not. I tried it once but it’s really hard getting the wrap on there like that.

I think you should pull some skin back, that’s what I do so that I don’t stretch out a bunch of skin from the base. This should also ensure you are hanging with the weight on the internal structures and not the skin.

You don’t have to quit manual stretching because you’re hanging.
Why not incorporate stretching into your hanging sessions until you moved up into
a high enough weight to achieve lig/tunica tears from hanging?

Take it easy with the 2 1/2 lb. increases. One pound at a time.

Ramrod - I have considered keeping some manual stretching but it’s hard for me to find time with school and everything. I have tried getting up earlier to get a session in but it just doesn’t happen consistently. Also I don’t have any 1lb weights, only a 5, 2.5, and a 10.

Dino - Yea that seems to be the case, last night I tried 7.5 lbs and it felt pretty intense for me. I think this weight should be enough for now shouldn’t it?
