SO With A Twist
Persuant to Bib’s LOT theory, I have been hanging SO exclusively. Recently, I’ve been experimenting rotating the hanger while hanging, about 180 degrees in one direction, then back the other way. Sometimes, I hold the position for about 30 seconds once it is fully rotated, othertimes I make the movement more dynamic (carefully dynamic that is) and only hold the position for a second or two.
I believe others have used this technique, so I make no claim as its inventor. I have found that after a twist or two, that the weight sinks slightly, indicating that the tunica is stretching. I’m careful not to alter my seated position and I believe that the hanger has not changed position after the twist, so I think it is the tunica being loosened up after the twist.
Have others tried this technique and can report on its benefits?
