Switching Angles of Attack

Essentially I think your saying its micro-tears in the ‘whatever’ and could potentially become macro’s if I dont chill the fuzz out.

Exactly. Well put.

I mean, the area that your pushing down has counter force because of ligaments toward your pelvic bone, and if you had already deformed your suspensory ligs and more cock is showing, than you are putting stress on more shaft allowing gains on tunica areas that wouldn’t be effected if they were still existing on your inner penis.

I have to say something here because my experience flies in the face of what your intimating here.

If you allow the ligs to rebuild aren’t you worried that they will also become tougher?

In my experience that is exactly what happens. It produces not only the demand to break down what was rebuilt but also give the opportunity for a plateau to occur.

I have never found days off to be productive in the long run and have never understood those that profess that they do.

09-2003 BPEL:6.0x5.5

11-2004 BPEL:8.25x6.25 . . 9+ by Spring is the goal AIR CLAMP

Now BPEL:8 5/8 x 6 5/8 PE Weights

I agree with Monty.

Days off are very bad for hangers. I have had one day off in 5 months- hanging after the day off I could feel my ligs were tighter and tougher and needed heavier weight to reach fatigue. Hanging requires a lot of commitment. King1990 I would stick with BTC and not worry about SO at the moment. The first couple of months of hanging suck- getting wrapping right, skin soreness, slipping etc. Stick with it, if things get painful reduce the weight. Read the bib forum while hanging. Good luck.

We’re on the same page, I wrote that unclear Monty:. I said:

>At a bare minimum, we attack the ligs every day to allow proper deformation.<

This is what I do, and what I personally think should be done. The following sentence:

>Simple stressors 2 days on one day off allow ligs to be broken down and rebuilt.<

Referred to V stretches, not my hanging routine. I said at a bare minimum because I think it would effect only little, but enough for me to choose my plan of attack directed at the ligs before manual stretches (Crabman99’s post).

Sorry for the confusion, but I am glad we agree

So I have been hanging lightly, and am back up to five pounds x five sets. But sometimes that soreness comes creeping back up.

It goes away for a bit if I use heat for 15 minutes or so, is this normal as long as I am hanging within my means?

I feel as if I was deforming a ligament of my arm it would have similar reactions. Did anyone else have similar reactions?

I am literally jealous you get such feeling from SUCH a low weight. I could jog with 5 lbs on my dick. I have gone up to 25, and barely got what you describe. Roll with it.

Uncomfortable=good, pain=bad. Rock an ADS instead of the last 1-2 sets if need be. You are doing great!

I have the same experience with the fatigue fading after applying heat. For reference, I’ve been hanging for just over a month using a Wench and I’m still on 6lbs (I’ve gained 1/4” BPEL and BPFSL in the last month, too!). I warm up for at least 10min with a rice sock prior to my first set, and I always have the rice sock applying heat for the entire set.

When I’m doing my piss pulls, my ligs are sore as all hell as I’m stretching. I KNOW it’s still there when I’m hanging, so fatigue is happening, but it’s just not as apparent with the heat I guess.

I think we’re on track, King. I’m bumping up to 7lb tomorrow to hit that perceptible fatigue despite the heat so I can really start riding it.

Keep it up! (huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh)

Started hanging on 3/28/12 after minimal gains on the newbie routine. Still not discouraged! This game is 99.9% mental. Stick with it, gents.

After 1 month of hanging 5-6lbs BTC: 1/4" gain in BPEL and BPFSL!

I am so pumped.

Hell yeah, I was at 7 lbs and now I bumped down to five and I’m still hitting fatigue. My dick has never looked so grand.

Even as promising as this looks, you (we!) still need to stay grounded and keep your head in the game. Don’t set yourself up for disappointment. Don’t necessarily EXPECT gains, just be happy if they materialize. If gains stop for a while (2-3 months or so), time to switch up the angle and/or add more weight. Personally, I know that whole septum/dorsal thickening will come into play once I’ve exhausted my lig gains, but I’ve a plan in place to destroy that damned thing. Heat + Fulcrum + Heat + Heat + Heat

Although it’s been seemingly discredited on this forum, Bib’s LOT theory, palpation and mirror tests appear to be a good guideline for structuring your hanging career over the long term. You can find it here on Thunders, but you may also want to check out his forum for even more information. I don’t want to link it here because it may be a rule violation or something, but a google search should turn it up fairly easily.

Bib is still in very good standing, I think a link would be fine? Just type in BIB forum on google if not. He is a super cool guy.
