What is the proper technique for hanging, should you stand straight up and let the weight pull straight down or should you bend over so as to pull strait out? If youhang strait down will you tear ligaments???

I always hung while sitting with the hanger on the seat of the chair or over the edge. Depending on the position of your butt, you can get about 180 degrees of angle change. From straight out to BTC. Using a rope extension, you can get another few degrees of hang.

Of course, depending on the amount of stress, this is always a possibility. That is why you should always start with a low weight, and then move up gradually. Then stop increasing when you reach the point where you know you cannot hang more. As your penis becomes stronger, you can then continue to move up.

The goal is controlled damage. This of course ends well before tearing ligaments. I have never heard of anyone having an actual torn susp lig. Or even a strain or sprain.

I have been using a pulling technoque for a while, I have gotten to the poiont of getting sore but not to sore. I want to see results . Im not seeing really good results. Im sure its because of the lack of weight. Where is a good starting point of weight ? Im thinking 15 Lbs????

It could be because of a lack of weight or time. After a certain point, it is very tough to apply enough stress to acheive gains. That is why hanging, as a passive endeavor, can be much more effective. You know what stress is applied, and for how long. Your limits are generally only privacy time.

Since you have done manual stretching, you may be able to start at a higher weight. But this is not a race and the best route is to ere on the side of caution. I did not feel a good stretch until I hung 7.5 lbs. I worked up to 7.5 over a couple weeks.

To begin, you might add weight until you feel the same stress as when manual stretching. Keep in mind, with hanging, the stress does not end because your hands or arms do not get tired. Just pay attention to what your body tells you, and use good sense.

I just bought a Bib hanger , got it today -Thanks Bib. By streaching BTC , are we concentrating on only streaching the groind area? dont we want to streach the whole ligament??? Im afraid of pulling or dislocating my main ligament from the pubic area. once I pulled real hard and heard a pop. seems like i slightly pulled the ligament away from the bone when I feel down there .???? just a beginer. Thanks all

First, if you pulled the ligament away from the bone, you would probably be in the hospital now. It should hurt a great deal.

Now, how much weight are you trying to hang? You should have started very low, 2-3 pounds and worked your way up slowly until you reached your max weight.

The pop feelings or sounds are fairly common. If there was no pain associated with the pop, it is probably ok.

You do want to stretch the whole ligament bundle. However, it is usually very hard for someone just starting to be able to hang BTC. Usually, you have to start out hanging straight out, and slowly lower the angle of hang.

If you think there is a problem, give me more information.
