mrlojo,
> An indian burn is when someone grips your wrist or forearm as hard as they can and twist their hand using the friction to burn & create pain. I have no idea where the name came from obviously a regional and dated expression. <
It should not feel like a friction burn, but rather a skin stretch burn. To me, they are not the same and you could be feeling a burn from friction. Hanger slippage.
>Would you hang at the lower weight until you stretch out the skin - would that stretch the skin effectively? Or just grin and bear it at the higher weight.<
Do it this way. Just hang whatever amount of weight you are comfortable with and feel a slight burn. Do this hanging straight out to begin. Then, when it no longer burns, stay at that weight, but scoot down in your chair until you feel the burn again. Continue doing this until you are hanging BTC. Then, you can go up in weight if needed.
Also, you can place the hanger closer to the base to get more skin stretch if needed.
>I guess the real question is would the skin adhere to the same principle as the ligs, where fatigue is the most important factor, since the discomfort effects the amount of time I can hang right now. <
No, I never felt a lasting soreness from skin stretch. Just the burn while doing it.
>By the way can the bib be purchased by credit card? (just ignore this question if your sick of being asked & I’ll figure it out) <
Yes, you have to use paypal, but within the US, I don’t think you have to join anymore. I gave up trying to understand it long ago. It does not seem to be too hard.
