What is "magic" about the 20 minute set

Riding the fatigue

I just loosen the screw about 10 turns and wait 5 or 10 minutes until my glan takes on a nice pink color indicating it has refreshed the area with oxygenated blood. Then I just tighten down and roll another 20 minute set.

I can get easy two sets an hour this way.

Monty and everybody else I’m new to the forum started hanging about three weeks ago at 5lbs BTC and was very fatigued and my unit was very sore behind the nut sack so I didnt hang for 4 days and my EQ went to zero and I severly turtled . I relaxed and jelged a little in the 4 days now after reading different posts on riding the fatigue should I have went on the attack ? Did I miss an oppotunity ?

The one thing you did miss was to utilize an ADS when your unit turtled after the trauma. You see that’s when you definitely want to grab onto those gains that the trauma produced. A light ADS accomplishes the retention of those gains. What happens when you stop doing anything until your unit feels better is to allow the body the time it needs to heal the damage it senses and then in the last phase of the healing cycle return everything back to what it (the body) considers normal. So you probably lost whatever gains you might have had.

Sorry

Thanks monty a had a long reply written about my whole PE experience that started in aug -sept 2011 and hit wrong button and lost it all. I will be gettng back to you ( this post). Thanks again for advice nice stats by the way. Very encouraging . I’ve been doing alot of reading and browsing at this site

I have also just started hanging and I was wondering if its normal for your penis to be cold at the end of each session. I have tried wrapping it different ways and tightening/loosening the hangar differently but its always cold when I finish a session.

It can be cooler at the end of a set but I wouldn’t want it extremely cold, that would indicate that all blood flow has been cut off. Believe it or not the hanger should be tighter, never loose or looser. If the hanger is loose it can slide down and in effect it will become a noose. This will cut off blood flow and also will eliminate proper grasping of the internals by the hanger. If your wrap is too tight this could be another issue.

I would get the technique corrected before moving up in weight or sets.

Thanks for the advice, I don’t think my wrap is too tight as I haven’t had any circulation problems with just the wrap. I’ve also had the hanger on very tight before but that didn’t improve circulation for what I guess are obvious reasons. I’ll try a few more sets with a tight hanger but I’m getting worried that I’m doing it incorrectly and limiting my gains/possibly being detrimental to my penis.

How far back from the glans are you placing the hanger?

Usually an inch or so, I mostly go by feel.

The coldness is lack of circulation.

That’s why the twenty minute limit.

I know its lack of circulation, just wondering if its normal/if I should continue doing what I’m doing. Thanks for your responses so far.

It depends on how cold, I can hang 20 minutes and not get cold. If it is really cold you are doing something that needs corrected. I noticed you had said an inch or so back is where you place your hanger, that may be a problem. When placing your hanger you must ensure that you still have at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space between your hangers front edge and your glans. If you get too close your reducing the blood by creating a noose effect. This can eventually lead to numbing and if not corrected it can get progressively worse after a while.

Check your other physical indicators.

If your erections are good and you don’t have on-going cold and numbness, just stick to the 20 minute timeframe and keep rocking.

Like everything else in PE we are all slightly different and respond differently to stressing our units.

When I first began the thought of hanging terrified me, and I had all sorts of difficulties when I did start, but I stuck with it and I haven’t torn my dick off yet!

Hung for 20 today and it wasn’t cold at the end. Making the wrap tighter was key but I also experimented with attaching the hangar farther back, thanks again guys.

I believe the reasoning behind the 20 minute limit is because tissue can start getting damaged and dying at about 30 so you don’t want to keep your unit clamped or hung without having fresh bloodflow for that length of time.

Exactly Texas.
