Aloe Vera gel

I was wondering if anyone else has tried using this gel to get a better seal? Someone recommended it on another forum but I can’t find any reference to here.

I did try it myself and found the resulting seal to be top notch. Simple Wallgreens brand gel was perfect. Applied generously at the base and along shaft and was good for 2 sessions. One 15min and then re-applied for a 20min session.
