Altering a cylinder to accommodate high erection angle?

Altering a cylinder to accommodate high erection angle?

So I got my cylinder for length pumping, but my high erection angle makes pumping uncomfortable to say the least and does not feel good afterward either. Like my dick is being forced into an angle it does not like.

So I’m off to the hardware store to get a mitre box and a hacksaw with fine tooth blade, unless some other tool would be better?

My question is do I cut the whole cylinder to a 30 or 45deg angle, or do I just cut the incline essentially to the halfway point. I feel like the second option is more efficient and applicable here. The cylinder is a tight enough fit that entering erect I will not need a seal at the base to maintain pressure.

My description is probably not good enough, I’ve attached an image that will hopefully make it clearer (once mods approve). In the image, imagine you are viewing the cylinder from the side, and the red line is what I would cut off.

I still had a fairly high erection angle when I re-started pumping four years ago. The tube would sit on a narrow area at the top of the base of my shaft, and it was rather uncomfortable.

After seeing some angle-cut tubes online, I cut mine. At about 30 degrees if I remember right. It was more comfortable, but the angle cut makes the area of the opening larger, and my balls kept getting sucked inside the tube. I finally cut it again, back to 90 degrees.

I recommend you start with the smallest angle your miter box can do. A little bit of angle seems to make a big difference, and you can always keep cutting until you get what you want.

When I cut mine I didn’t know about Shapelock plastic, or I would simply have re-shaped the opening of the tube to be more comfortable. With Shapelock, you don’t even need to cut the tube; just mold a new angled opening.

FYI; if you want to do an angle that’s not in your miter box, you can use a concrete surface like a sidewalk or patio, if you have access to one where nobody will ask what the weird plastic tube is. Just rub it along the concrete and it will remove the plastic quite rapidly.

Dress the opening by scraping with a knife blade held 90 degrees to the edge you’re rounding off. You want 90 degrees because you’re scraping, not cutting.

If you ever need to open a Combloc "spam can" ammunition canister, rubbing on concrete is the preferred method. It’s faster and neater than using the can-opener tool, which often involves donating blood to the project.

If your tube wasn’t pricey, I’d try the smaller cut first and see if it doesn’t relieve the pinch. Hopefully it doesn’t just create a new one.

I haven’t used shapelock, but I have seen what it can do, it might be a good choice as well. You can also use it to shape a new flange after you cut and mold the entry to your body. I like wide flanges myself, they’re more comfortable. The no flange tubes I’ve had got ditched quickly.

-Stay safe
