I have both Kaplan and LA Pump Works cylinders. I think the LA Pump Works cylinder is higher quality and better designed, as it should be — it costs about $20 more. But the LA cylinder just has a more substantial feel. It’s heavier, but not too much. I use the added weight to get a little lig stretch as I lean back. You can tell it’s quality workmanship. I like the flange design more on it too. It’s slightly wider than the Kaplan and seems to give me a better seal.

For the suck, I use a $16 vacuum gauge I got at Action Autoparts here in Seattle, then some brass fittings and 3/8ths inch clear plastic tube I got at Home Depot…and my lungs. Works great.

I can’t really compare, I only have the LA Pump but it seems to be very good quality.

I really like the fact that it has a gauge on it so I can make sure of what the pressure is at all times. I find that I lose pressure during a pump session and don’t really notice the slow decrease in vacuum, but I look at the gauge every so often and realize I need to give it a couple of pumps.

I think you would probably do fine with any of the pumps recommended by members here.

I like the LA Pump.

Same. No complaints…

What made you guys choose your current cylinder? Just stumble across the website? Reccomendation? And why didi you choose that one

I have the velseal cylinder from pumptoys.com It has a padded bottom ring and is so very comfortable. I don’t see how it could get any better.

Anyone on this board give Bostonpumps.com a try? Their contour comfort cylinder looks nice..

I am really caught up up between

LA Dist Pump- (because alot of people reccomend them on this board and speak highly of them)

Vaccutech ( because they have been around forever and are very reputable)

Boston Pump Adult Sex Toys - buy penis pump, penis enlargement packages, clitoral pump, toys for men at bostonpump.com ( Cool designs ,decent prices, cool measuring tape built onto cylinder)

These cylinders and pumps are very pricey, and I only want to settle for the best. That goes for service too.

Can someone please give me there 2 cents on these 3 pumps/cylinders and possibly help me narrow my choices? Thanks in advance

I have no complaints after over three years use with my LA Dist system. I believe that out of the above distributors, this is the only brass pump with gauge, all of the others are plastic pumps. The cylinders are thick walled and constant diameter for the full length with a nice flange at the base for comfort and good sealing.

I would like to get their package system but I don’t want their video. How would I purchase a system without the video? What would I need to order individualy?

I’m not sure what accessories are needed to be purchased extra not including the cylinder and pump.

Wow the LA pumps are pretty pricey. I would have to get only the cylinder, i have a profesional automechanic pump with guage tht i can prolly use. The LA pumps dont have base seals? Thoughts on the mushroom head cylinder? - lapdist.com , It would be great to increase glan size but doesnt normal cylinder do this?

If i planned to end up with 6.4 girth wouldnt i need to pick the 7 inch girth size aka 2 1/4 diameter?

I think I have my heart set out on a Pump toys velseal cylinder with there metal mityvac.. A little bit pricey,, but when it comes to quality price is not a factor for me. Thanks for the input guys.

No. We make gains by degrees. Get a cylinder size that corresponds to where you are now, not to where you want to get to.

___

You will make much faster gains if you capitalize your “i”s when “i” is a personal pronoun. Like, wouldn’t _I_ need… (I am saving you a visit from the very nasty Grammer/Spelling Police.)

SiamGuy,

Avocet is right. The 2.25 inch cylinder would be too big for you. The 2.0 is just about right and you can get very close to your 6.4 girth goal using it. I have a 2.0 cylinder and pump up to 6.25 girth everyday and that is without fully packing it.
