Broken pump

Hey guys. Before 1 month I bought a pump, I used it and all seemed perfect, until today. When I opened the box of the pump, I realized that the tip of the cylinder is broken :S I asked the shop to refund or replace it, and for sure he said no. So I’m left with a broken one, and I’m not willing to pay 150$ again. So is there any way to fix it? Or do something about it other then throwing it. I already glued it but is that enough?

Just buy a brake bleeding pump mate they are cheap at your local car parts store.

I’m afraid that the plastic will break, And plus the tip is very tiny, I don’t think the one you suggest may fit :S Yesterday I supper glue it, and I added wax on it. You know the wax gun? It seems okay now, Yesterday I used it and it seems to be working perfectly. But this may happen to each one of us, So for other who will face this problem, will read this thread and find the solution. So any one have a new idea, Because gprent, I’m really afraid to break the cylinder. And its way too tiny to insert any thing in it.

Are you talking about a plastic piece attached to the pump, or the screw in white piece with the black rubber ring?

You may be able to repair it with the right 2 part epoxy, or just break it off and use a tap and die set to fit it for a plastic quick disconnect. If nothing else works, then see if you can seal a funnel upside down and just use that with the hose.

Any chance to attach a pic of the broken part? Or at least tell us the brand name of the pump?

You know what guys. I traveled a lot in my life. From middle to Africa and far to asia, I have seen cheaters, Fucked up people. People who will literally tell you a story to fool you with money. But like asian I never ever seen. They are the worst people to make business with. And I’m talking about the people who make business, Not about the ordinary people. The pump that I bought with 150$ it literally cost 3.5$ in alibaba. I just found out by mistake, I was looking for a picture for gprent. Bro its not about the money. I already paid what I’v paid the difference now is I’m 150$ poorer :) The thing is I know that there is a way better brands. But I have 2 issues. First one Its almost impossible to receive any package of this kind. Second thing I have no choices to choose. There is one place that I know. This country is very funny, prostitution unbelievable and the sex toys are not allowed, how don’t ask me because I don’t know. And when I tried to make a pump. I simply don’t know what to look for. The advice’s here is to look for a fluid pump. I just couldn’t find. I try to explain to the person what I want. But the answer is common maymeeeee means no. So I had to pick up whats in front of me. I really feel bad more then what you can imagine. I do prefer to burn the money but no one fool me with a penny. Now I will forget it. I will try :D Now this pump doesn’t tell you what PSI you pump. I just read information about the brake bleeding vacuum pump. It looks interesting. But I don’t know where to look for it :S

whynotbig, brake bleeding pumps are generally found at places that sell tools to fix cars, if that helps.
