Thoughts?
It’s a last resort for those who do it, since at this stage of medical science, it involves the total destruction of internal penile tissues (which are replaced with the implants). It’s major penile surgery (with all the risks that entails), and you’re carrying implanted foreign material in your body after that. It’s a technology with a track record, so my hope is that the material is well tolerated by most, but some of the men having this surgery are people who have other, complicating health issues (like diabetes) which complicates healing, making it intrinsically riskier than similar surgery on someone who is healthier.
