Cylinder cushion recommendation?

I have the lapdist cylinder. Should I just go ahead and get their cylinder cushion? The ones I see on ebay that sell for much cheaper are called “sleeves” and it looks like the hole (the opening) is much smaller. Are those better than the lapdist cushion? I’m just looking for something that will give me the best maximum seal, not really for comfort purposes, more for SEAL. Are the cheaper ones on ebay just as good as the lapdist one?

On the lapdist web site it states the cushion is designed for guys with a lot of pubes that don’t want to shave. Do you think you are having sealing problems because of this?

Are you sure you are losing pressure from the base and not from say a loose female quick disconnect that just needs a little tightening? I put plumbers teflon tape on the threads of my female connector and screw it back in for the best possible seal.

I trust you are also using a lube to help with sealing the base of the cylinder.

Don’t know anything about either one, but if you want a guaranteed fit, I would go with the lapdist cushion. Actually, I wouldn’t buy either one, because I just don’t need it.

I tried the Lapdist ‘cushion’ and ended up throwing it out. It’s a hard rubber which is uncomfortable and didn’t really provide a good seal for me. I’ve generally switched over to Velseal, which I find far superior. I have also used the third-party silicone collars with the Lapdist tubes. It’s a tricky fit, due to the flange on the tubes, but it worked quite well.

plustwo, Which of the Velseal sleeves work best with the lapdist 9x2 cylinder? I see there are 3 options to choose from.

Also, will the ebay one I posted above work with my lapdist 9x2?
