My recommendation is after you have an idea of how your routine affects your EQ and PI’s go by feel instead of a set schedule. With that being said if you go by feel don’t try to force yourself either. I’ve done a lot of hanging, extending and pumping in my time. With all of them I have never used a set schedule.
Generally what I do is keep at it for a set period of time, say 2-3 months, taking a day off if needed. Then when the few months are up take a week or two off completely, drop back down in intensity and start to build back up again. This doesn’t work for everyone but this is pretty much how I’ve always done things.
Bottom line is just listen to your body and adjust accordingly. We say to schedule rest days to be safe. People always tend to push the envelope and get themselves injured.
