Does powder damage electric pumps?

I just ordered a penis pump kit from LeLuv which includes the electric pump (Magna Smart LCD) and a thick walled cylinder. I hope to use powder as lubricant - specifically the off-brand imitation of Gold Bond. I am concerned that the powder might clog-up the electric pump. I want to use powder, because I am very bothered by artificial fragrances, and even the supposedly unscented water-based lubricants have an overpowering fragrance that is difficult to get off my skin - even with a shower.
