Experience with Boston Pump

Does anyone have recent experience good or bad with Boston Pump?

What are you referring to, the pump or the cylinders?

I started out with a Boston pump kit: brass 2 handed pump and a flared cylinder. I purchased it at a porn shop.
I used the pump for years, but it eventually wore out. It lost its seals on both ends and the piston from too much exposure to mineral oil as a lubricant in the cylinder.
The pump had a lot more power in comparison to a typical 1 handed pump, since the pump cylinder is so large and can pull much more air. I did not like the 2 handed operation though.
I am still using my cylinders after 17 1/2 years.
I use a brass Harbor Freight pump now.

Thanks for the information, I also have one of their pumps which I purchased several years ago, I would like to purchase a new cylinder and have tried to contact the company several times. I have concerns about their credibility and was trying to find out if their company was still in operation.

You don’t need to buy a new cylinder from Boston. You can get that anywhere.

Try Amazon or Ebay. Leluv or LA Pump Works (lapdist.com)

They all use the same couplings.

Thanks for the reply.
I am trying to find a cylinder without a rim and Boston Pump has one. Trying to communicate with Boston Pump has not been good. I am using the pump as treatment for ED and it is difficult to use a restriction band with a cylinder with a rim. Does anyone know of a supplier of cylinders without rims?

Thanks

Here you go, Pump Master rimless straightwall from

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks for the information. Will placed an order in the morning.

An amusing side note to the Boston Pumpworks cylinders…
I still have the factory stickers on one of my tubes with the disclaimer, “This device is sold as a novelty only. Not medically proven. Not intended for use.”

Not intended for use. What the hell am I paying $60 for? Just to look at it?

I received my cylinder and with the thin walls it is going to take some time getting use to the sharp edges. Any pressure over 5 Hg can be painful.

I am sorry to hear that, but good info to know. I have never used a rimless cylinder. The rimless cylinders from thickwall.co.uk have ¼” thick acrylic, but a 9X2 would have cost $97.82 including airmail shipping to the U.S.

How thick is the acrylic on your cylinder?

Per the vendor’s website the walls are 1/8” thick. I have a couple of 1/4” walled cylinders and it is unbelievable at the difference in the comfort level. I am afraid that any type of cushion is going to interfere with the restriction band.

I have severe ED and I use the Erecaid vacuum erection device ((VED)to generate and maintain my erections
http://www.amaz on.com/gp/offer … 0RR5PF4M3984069

It is designed to easily accept a tight constriction band (I prefer the Osbon constriction band) and alows it to be slipped onto the base of the pumped erection. I have been using it successfully for several years.

I was looking at the cut end of the cylinder and discovered that the end had not been finished. I took a knife and scrapped the sharp edge off until I can use my dremel tool to polish the end. My advice to anyone buying a rimless cylinder be sure to check to see if the sharp edges have been removed.

DTwarren

I also use the Osbon tension rings. I slide the ring onto the cylinder, get an erection and slide the ring off onto the base of my erection before removing the cylinder. This method allows me to use a larger cylinder.

I can not generate a natural erection so I need to use the Erecaid in order to achieve an erection. The rim has a hard silicone collar that results in a very smooth base.

Have you talked to your doctor about any benefits you might get from Muse?

Healthcare Provider Home | MUSE (alprostadil)

I buy the 500 mcg and divide the dosage into three pieces. I also use a pump to get an erection and when used in conjunction with Muse I get a decent erection even if it is man made.
