Some guys have a really hard time gaining girth BUT it does take a reasonable time to see any gains in many cases. My penis gains length with ease but girth is a very careful struggle.

The thing that has helped my girth gains the most is just being consistent with routine and having discipline to not overtrain

Jelquing over 6 months. I did not expand past my normal size during this exercise. It looked slightly fuller after but my girth measurement was exactly the same, even 5 seconds after a long jelq session.

Squeezes 4 months. I did expand past my normal size during this exercise (by 0.1 inches). After, I would get a temporary girth gain sometimes for like 20 seconds. It would be like 0.1 inches thicker. But nothing ever stuck.

Clamping for a short time, like 1 month. I would certainly be thicker during (by 0.1-0.15 inches) but it would drop back down to normal as soon as I took off the clamp. I might get 20 seconds of increased girth by 0.1 inches after.

With pumping (only been doing it 1 week), it obviously looks significantly bigger in the tube pumped up. When I take the pump off (after a 10 min session) I get a tiny bit of length and girth post session temporary gains (probably about 0.1 inches in girth and unsure of length due to it being softer). This temporary girth gain lasts about 30 seconds. I hope with continued usage I can make some real girth/length gains.

My main goal is girth, but I certainly wouldn’t mind length as well since I’m 5.2” NBPEL.

Seeing 0.25” in girth gains and 0.5” in length gains would change my life and confidence overall, since I’d be moving closer to average.

It just seems like I barely experience temporary girth gains and definitely none of them are holding. I do a lot of research, reading, trial and error and I think I have good form on the exercises I do. I am committed as well.

Do you guys experience similar things? Do you have longer temporary girth gains? Do you have bigger temporary girth gains? Is my penis not expanding a lot during exercises abnormal? Is my penis not showing much expansion after exercises abnormal? Thank you. Responses from anyone are welcome.

Take your time. It took me a year to grow with consistent pumping. You have a lot of doubts and you’ve only been doing it a week.

Stay consistent and use constant heat.

I always found clamped edging to be a great girth gainer.Anywhere from 20 min to 1hr sessions.Never ever do this with the clamp so tight your member goes cold or purple.Alot of guys make the mistake of clamping to tight this is completely counter productive and dangerous.
Clamp just needs to be tight enough to impede blood from flowing back out of penis.

Your aim is to keep penis expanded larger than its normal size for as long as you can. This will promote growth. This stuff takes years to get results there are no short cuts. Anyone claiming huge gains in a short time period. Either measured wrong in the first place. Or are completely full of shit.

Busy Building a big dick with AM 2.

Gotta love the exaggerated claims on some of the less respectable PE forums …and some on here too

Heat while in the tube with a heating pad or something?

I have doubts because I’ve been doing PE for years with no girth gains.

So I’m seeing early signs of the “directly below the glans edema”. I’d like to do my best to minimize this edema. I’ve read people use a wrap? That sounds counterproductive. Do some people just wrap the area below their glans? If so, what material do they use? How big is this wrap?

Thank you.

Do a thunders place search for wrapping and you’ll find what you’re looking for

Keep in mind you do not pump while wrapped. The wrap is for after a session to keep the edema down

Im not sure about your pumping style also. You might get the temporary expansion to linger longer if you enter the tube hard and stay hard for the duration of the session.

Try pumping for less time and or less pressure to see if that helps you be harder after pump session.

Light pumping should make your dick harder not softer.

I bet you’d see some noticeable progress in a few weeks if you pump consistently on schedule, low pressure(3in hg or under) and short duration.

As a beginner you should really be basing your pumping timeframe and pressure around positive PIs.

There’s plenty of time to advance on time or pressure and if you plan to be a pumper, you’re in it for the long haul, like years… there’s no need to beat your dick up between your where you’re at now and your goal.

Wishing you the girth gains you’re looking for

Thanks for the advice. I have to be honest I don’t know when I’m truly hard in the tube, because it stays full and expanded like I have an erection no matter what. Then when I pull out it’s semi-flaccid. So how can I know? Either way I will consider lower HG and lower time, thank you.

I have another question too. When I finish a session, lately I have a bubble at the top of my shaft about 3/4 inch from the base. It’s not a clear/blister looking edema bubble nor a red blood bubble, it’s just a bubble underneath the skin (could still be edema) but all I see is raised skin on the surface. It’s about 1/8 inch in diameter and I have to knead it out to get it to go away. Is this normal? Is there anything to worry about / reason to slow down because of this?

I also notice a vein going across the top of my shaft after each session. It connects to a vein going up and down (that’s always been there), forming what looks like a T-shape. I have been warned thrombosed veins can be T-shaped. The horizontal vein is pretty soft and seems to go down after a few hours. That does not sound like a thrombosed vein to me, but I want to be more confident about it. The last thing I want to do is pump through a thrombosed vein and do some serious damage.

Should I be taking rest days? What schedule is most efficient for you (5 days on 2 off, 2 on 1 off, etc.)? I heard that consistency is key for pumping and have been doing 7 days a week. But it seems like my amazing PI’s that I was getting the first week (constant erections) have subsided. But maybe a less intense routine 7 days a week is most optimal for growth?

I appreciate you taking the time to help. All opinions welcome.

Pumping has produced easy girth gains for me, to a degree that I usually actively discourage girth growth since it’s length gains that I feel I need to make progress on.

Maybe you’re over training with PE?

It’s counter-intuitive, but I’ve gotten better results from doing less PE. The hardest thing about PE this time around for me has been not over doing it.

There are a few things I know for sure about PE, they include that gains to penis size can be made by doing PE and that pumping is a valid way to make gains.

When I first tried pumping though, it didn’t work at all. I had been doing really aggressive clamping until the gains stalled and pumping didn’t do anything for me. I think if the penis has become tough from too much PE, it prevents methods that normally work from producing gains.

Yes when I started (a few weeks ago) my EQ shot through the roof, then after a week dropped to below normal levels. I think I overtrained for what I was capable of at the time, even though I was just doing 1 set of 10 minutes with 5HG. I had just gotten off a long 6 month break from PE and this was probably too much. So I am taking 9 days off and I will come back doing 5 minutes of 4HG for a week, then 5 minutes of 5HG the next week, and upping by 2 minutes (maxing out at 5HG though) each week until I hit a 15 minute set. Then after the 15 minutes I will start adding multiple sets.

What changed for you to allow pumping to help you start making gains (especially easy girth gains!)? My penis may be quite tough as well from the PE I’ve done over the years. Sometimes it honestly feels tougher, hah.

Well, I don’t know for sure because there are a lot of variables I can’t account for, but I can tell you what I noticed and think about it.

So I had stopped PE for about a decade because my gains stopped, though I probably would have continued if other things weren’t going on in my life so I don’t know. I restarted PE in 2017, this time with a new approach of using low force PE and trying to be more objective about what was working and what wasn’t. I started with pumping, trying different pumping pressures, session time, and frequency. I eventually approximated to a range of 20 minutes at 5 inHg every other day, which is ironically what I was told to do over a decade ago. I was pumping with a large diameter tube and was seeing significant girth growth to 6.25” MSEG, but not lengthening. So I decided to try out tube packing and light weight hanging (.5lbs.) and I started making significant length gains and interestingly my MSEG shrunk down to 5.8”. I’ve got a hypothesis that girth was converted to length because it seems like after the length growth and girth shrinkage the volume stayed about the same, but I haven’t retested it just yet to verify it was the transition to a smaller diameter tube that caused it and it could just be because the addition of the light weight hanging.

One thing that might be applicable to you from my experience is that when I was doing really aggressive clamping (I used a rolling pin by the end) I eventually got an extremely tough penis, like a baseball glove underneath the skin and at that time nothing I tried worked, including pumping. I haven’t tested out deconditioning, but if the other long term PEers are correct (and I think they almost always are) it will allow growth to begin again. Though I don’t know if 9 days is enough, I think they usually recommend deconditioning breaks around 1-3 months.

It’s possible an antifibrotic substance might help speed up the deconditioning, but I don’t know. I’ve tested antifibrotics on myself, but they didn’t seem to increase the growth rate and I didn’t try them at a time when I was at a plateau.

My general impression of PE right now is that lower forces and less time is better long term to avoid the plateau and keep gains coming, but I’m not entirely confident in that idea yet because I haven’t become much bigger than I did before with clamping yet. I’m reasonably confident, but I could change my mind if my gains stop even while using lower forces. I did gain more and faster using light pumping and light hanging than I did with jelqing, but clamping was faster until the gains stopped (and came with side effects like stretch marks, less sensitivity, and discoloration).

I appreciate you taking the time to help. All opinions welcome.

The bump on the top of your shaft is most likely a slightly clogged lymph vessel. Gentle massage can help get rid of it. They usually go away on their own. I get one in the same place as you sometimes and also one just below glans on the side of shaft. I’ll get them from pumping or a long jelqing session even. I don’t think you need to worry about them. The lymph vessels carry out the fluid that accumulates during a session.

Veins popping out and growing is normal as long as they remain soft and pliable. A true thrombosed vein will affect your EQ I think.

My central vein on the top of my shaft used to stand alone it seemed, at least visually. Now it’s connected to several other smaller veins that run diagonal and sideways on my dick. I think those were always there but are only now visible with increased vascularity from pumping.

Pumping 7 days a week and noticing a big improvement in EQ only to have it drop drastically shortly is a sign of cumulative fatigue. Its basically just slowly stressing your penis past the limit so that you can’t achieve full recovery in the time between sessions. The fatigue slowly builds up over time and then all of the sudden the ol pecker doesn’t want to work right. It’s happened to me many times. Rest is super important.

After some time and experimentation, I have settled on 1on/1off just for better consistency. Before that I have done things like to 4on/2off, 3on/1off and 2on/1off.

Out of those 2on/1off was the best thing and what was nice about it was the 2nd day on and building on the previous days temporary gains. Pumping on day 1 really adds a nice boost to the expansion on the 2nd day. The only issue I had was sometimes overworking the 2nd day and needing to rest an extra day, or not resting 2nd day and then my expansion would suffer on the following 1st day of training defeating the whole purpose of training 2 days in a row.

On that note, I think PE is all about finding a balance between stress and recovery that works for YOU.

Consistency is important but don’t skip out on experimentation if what you’re doing isn’t producing gains anymore.

If you’re trying something new, give it a few weeks to really see what’s going on. Sometimes your dick takes some time to adjust before it starts showing signs of growth.

That’s all I can think of for now

One more tip I just thought of.

Try working length before working girth even if you mainly want girth. Many guys here, including myself, find we can get better girth expansion if we have worked our penis lengthwise first.

Think of a balloon - the kind for balloon animals. They always stretch it first to make it easier to blow up.

Maybe that can work for you as well
