Grappler pumping questions

I get Petechiae (tiny red spots on penis after pumping) from doing 3 x 10 minutes at 4Hg. I am warming up adequately and am an athlete in great shape. From what I’ve read, I’m getting the feeling that EITHER my pump’s gauge is lowballing my mmHg measurements OR my body is just not built to pump at 5-10Hg. The literature on pumping (studies done with men using a penis pump everyday after having a prostatectomy to restore penis size and function) had the men pump at 4-6Hg if I recall correctly. From that study and what I read anecdotally on this and other PE forums, it seems like everybody is more or less pumping at 5+Hg right off the bat with no negative PI. I’m currently making size gains from stretching and pumping, so I’m not too concerned with my vacuum pressure. But I’m curious as to why my dick can’t take pressures of 5Hg without getting Petachiae or pain. I may buy another hand pump soon to compare. Any ideas?

Petechiae is a result of too high vacuum and/or too much time in the tube. Find a combination that does not generate petechiae and hold there for several days to allow for better conditioning, then gradually increase. Try 2 sessions instead of 3 and see if that makes a difference. Or have a longer break between sessions.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thanks for the advice 32. I did a session with shorter duration and higher pressure which gave me lots of Petechiae. 2 days later I tried a session with longer duration and lower pressures and I had no Petechiae. So for me at least for now as I’m still pretty new to pumping, I will stick to lower pressures.

@Grappler

In the past, I’ve experienced petechiae and significant bruising from 10 minutes at 5hg. I too was surprised. Seems like everyone can tolerate 5hg or more right off the bat.

What works for me now: I take L-Arginine and drink coffee 1-2 hours before pumping. I take a 10 minute bath before pumping while cupping epsom salts in my hand directly below my penis. I keep the pressure no higher than 3hg. First 2 rounds are 10 minutes, the third is 30 minutes. I’ve had a lot of success with this and figured I’d pass along my experience. Good luck brother

That’s a crazy good warm up. Holy cow. Do you get much edema after a long pump session like that? I’ve read mixed opinions on edema. But it seems like it’s mostly just a temporary cosmetic change and not detrimental to PE gains. At lower pressure for longer duration, I get less Petechiae but a little bit of edema. Nothing crazy though. Thanks for sharing your routine.

I am also surprised at how little edema I get with this routine. No donut at all. A little puffiness around the pee hole, but it subsides very quickly.

I should also mention that I use Albolene for lube. Once finished, I wipe the lube off with a paper towel and apply Arnica ointment. I wait for the icy hot sensation to dissipate, wipe off, then apply Lubriderm Advanced Therapy lotion which includes vitamin E and B5.

I’ve been pumping for about 7 to 8 years and have begun to get better results when I pump at low pressures rather than going to 15-20 hg. I liked the pull at high pressures. And my dick would be near the top of the 9” tube. I would have a huge donut and be sore for a couple days. Yesterday I stayed in the tube for about 30mins between 5hg-10hg nad it felt better. Less swelling. And I was able to get hard quicker. Don’t know if this is going to help with length gains though.

I think I solved my Petechiae issue. It wasn’t a problem of pressure, duration, warmup, or sustained heat. I was pumping up from 0Hg to 3-4Hg too quickly. Now I pump up to 3Hg slowly over the course of 2-3 minutes and I’m good to go. No red spots. I’m pumped!

What can I do/buy to improve my pumping sessions? I want to spend my time/money in the right place.

I have a “leluv” 1.75” diameter cylinder (pumping for length). I have the entry level harbor freight brake bleeder pump. The tubing is good. My heating pad is ok. I use a mix of coconut oil and lotion which works pretty great. I take L-Citrulline, and I’m in great shape.

I typically pump for 3x10 minutes at 3hg. Sometimes longer. My heating pad wraps around my cylinder the whole time. Taking special care to pump up very slowly from 1hg to 3hg over the course of several minutes to avoid petechiae. 3-4 times a week. More if I have no red spots, less if I have lots of petechiae.

Here is my setup:

My fault. I got lost.

What do you mean by improve? What do you feel is missing at the moment?

More heat, higher pressure, more time, better warmup, different tube, different pump. I’m really not sure, but I know there’s room for optimization.

My opinion is you don’t need to spend anymore money as long as you feel/know the cylinder you have matches your girth enough to target length. Traditionally that entails being able to pack the tube girth-wise where there’s a concentrated force on the glands and head of the penis. The main consideration is to ensure you’re okay with your current girth. If not and you’d like for that to improve; then I’d look into moving up to a larger cylinder.

As far as all the other mentions, the best advise I can give is to pick (1), give it (2) weeks and monitor what happens. Mainly with vacuum, you want to increase that ever so slightly. If you’re using a gauge, don’t be afraid to use the “halfway” marks between each number…such as -4.5 and -5.5Hgmm

There’s no secret formula. You (1) have to be patient but more than that is pay attention to how your dick responds after you implement each change

The one thing I will re-emphasize is don’t throw a bunch of factors at it at (1) time. If you have nevgsrive PIs, it’ll be too hard to identify what went wrong

Keep a log on your phone with dates, vacuum level, duration and any of the other things you mentioned that you want to implement
