hair gel as lubricant

I bought some hair gel a few months ago that I no longer use for hair styling.

I was wondering if it can be used as lubricant for pumping.

What are the gel’s ingredients? If it’s an oily pomade sort of thing, it might work well; if it’s a drying alcohol-based thing, it’ll be bad.

I used it for pumping and it worked very well with. I had to use water along with it. So, now, my concern is that is it okay to use it without any harm?

Ingredients: Agua, Trietanolmina, Carbomero, Coplimero PVP/VA, Glicerina, PVP, Fenoxietanol, Metildibromo Glutaronitrilo, metilcloroisotiazolinona, Metilisotiazolinona, ETA Testrasodico, Fragancia, Puede contener uno o varios de los siguentes colores: FD&C Azul No. 1. FD&C Amarillo No.5., FD&C Rojo No.40, Ext. D&C Violeta No.2

If it worked well for you, go for it. The worst that could happen, I think, is just skin problems (as many guys get when they jelq with soap, for example), and those would go away if you stopped.

A thick, viscous hair gel actually sounds like a pretty good pumping lube for getting a seal at the base. I wonder if others have tried it?

I checked the spelling again and it’s correct. All the ingredients listed sound like spanish. I bought this hair gel in Mexico City!

I have used “Sex Grease” lubricant that I bought along with my pump and cylinder from lapdist. I can surely tell you that the hair gel I’m using now gives me better seal. However, it requires some amount of water as well for the penis to slide in smoothly.
