Right now, I’m hitting length only, until I hit my goal. Once I do, I plan to switch from manual stretching/light jelqing to exclusively extreme ulis using a uli thing. RWG’s post has me looking ahead and thinking.

He stated that it is possible to pump up your girth immediately, and it can last for up to 4 days before it fully dissipates. I’m thinking of pumping in the early am for as long as I can up to 45 minutes or so, to get the “instant” girth, then doing extreme uli’s throughout the day to cement permanent lateral tunica expansion.

My question is, how much bigger than my erect girth should the tube be to optimize girth expansion? 1/8”? 1/4”? More?

More than likely I’ll make the length just a bit passed my erect length, in order to concentrate on girth. I plan to make my own “pump”, using some form of tube and iv hosing that I can clamp off easily after applying the vaccuum with my mouth.

Buy a tube at least 3” longer than your best length. I think 4” longer is better.

If you can afford to add cylinders in the future or plan on “step” pumping, find one only 1/8th inch larger than your best girth if that’s convenient. 1/4th inch wider will usually work, too. If you have a very wide mushroom head you may have to think in another direction as further glans expansion can sometimes prevent overall vacuum pressure down the shaft.

RWG is getting longer-lasting pumped effect than most of us experience when starting out. He also began PE with considerable girth. He had a dick most of us would envy even before he started re-building it! More realistic for most of us to expect an hour or two of pumped effect in the very beginning and for that to last longer and longer as we proceed.

Since I’ve only been pumping for a couple weeks this thread has been my manual. It is thorough, knowledgeable and simple to understand. However, I do have three questions that come to my mind. The video that came w/ the kit said to pump, pump, pump until you can differentiate between pleasure and pain. Although I’m new to this, it would seem slower would definitely be better and to take measures of progression. Anyway, I say all of this to ask these 3 questions.

First, by following guidelines and time limits on pumping. Right now I’m pumping between 4 - 10 hg. 10 Hg really gives my penis a good stretch w/out too much donut effect afterward. After following each weeks progression, when do you decide to increase pressure?

Second question, when you do increase pressure, do you start sessions as if it were week 1 but w/ a different starting point?

Last question, in this thread it is recommend by the thread starter to pump x number of minutes per session, depending upon which week, then jelq. I am jelqing w/ the power-jelq device and find it difficult to get a good jelq due to the extra girth. Any advice on what I can do to solve this?

I apologize for the ignornace in my questions but I want to get this right and make it worthwhile and permanent.

I know you from betterman.com. I know you purchased the Northwest pumping kit. As far as that video goes, I would ignore everything that is taught on that tape. The guy they use in that video has a few loose screws. The huge donut this guy had after pumping is not what I’d want to get after pumping. I’m sure you noticed that this guy never got an erection the whole time. I’m willing to bet that he is incapable of getting one. If you ask me, that video is nothing more than a porn film. The only thing I learned from that tape is what not to do. I use the PJ device as well. I do my normal PJ workout and then I pump. I never exceed 5” hg., and normally pump at 4” hg., for 3 sets of 10 minutes, for a total of 30 minutes. The fact that you are getting any kind of donut at all, says that you are probably pumping at too high a pressure. I’d back off the pressure a little.

You shouldn’t need to increase the pressure at all. It’s the time under pressure that you can increase if you want. When I wrote Pumping 101 I was doing sets up to 20 minutes after I had conditioned my dick to pumping, but later I found that shorter sets (6 - 8 minutes) worked better.

Can you say more about this: ” I am jelqing w/ the power-jelq device and find it difficult to get a good jelq due to the extra girth.” I don’t use a PowerJelk. Can’t figure out here if you are saying that the device somehow interferes with jelking or your own girth does.

Do they make cylinders that accommodate a large mushroom head? My head is the first thing to pack the cylinder, and I want to increase base girth. The only thing I have seen that gets wider at the top is the monster. And that is just too bizarre to try.

My glans packs first, too. This isn’t a negative in pumping if you are well lubed. If, though, your glans totally occudes the space between itself and the tube wall, you won’t get so much vacuum at the bottom of the cylinder, where you want it.

Because I have a tree trunk shaped dick (smaller at the head and gradually widening down the shaft to the base), I don’t have the same problem with a larger head ceiling off the rest of the shaft from pumping up.

I use a 2” x 9 ” tube and easily pack the first three inches at the base of the tube in 5 - 10 minutes. Because of my dick’s basic shape, I think this is the reason why I’ve been able to make really excellent girth gains, especially at the base, under the pump. But, my dick does have a tendency to swell right below the glans while pumping. In order to counteract this, I just wrap this area below the glans using some ACE self-adhesive bandage wrap and a small 1-inch wide circular strip of bicycle tubing to hold it tightly in place.

When I do this, I can safely pump up and pack the tube, while keeping the area below the glans in check, preventing the donut effect. When I’m done, I am able to achieve an excellent thick pumped shaft and head. I leave the ace bandage wrap on for at least 30 minutes to prevent any fluid from possibly seeping and forming a belated donut. I’m thinking that this kind of wrapping technique could also be used to wrap the glans of the penis, so that its expansion could be lessened, allowing the rest of the shaft below the glans to pump up instead. This would be one way of redirecting the pumping effect from the head to the lower part of the shaft

Anyway, this wrapping technique works for me. It may be something you guys may want to experiment with.
