Well,
I went with the largest tube I could find (1.75 — 2.25”), pretreated it as recommended by Thunder (heated it up, stretched it over a beer bottle and left it in the freezer for a day).
I was able to put it on but it was a real struggle. I get hard and lubed up but while I am pulling the opening apart with my finger, the rubber gets some lube on it so it starts slipping. Finally, I get a good grip but now my erection has flagged and I’m back to square one. I get hard again and get the thing on, only to have it slide off once I’m in the tube under pressure. I cut some of the length off and use my glans to anchor the tube from sliding. Keep in mind that I have an LA Pump tube with a wide flanged base and spreading the tire outside the pump tube is not feasible. I pump up but don’t feel much and little expansion occurs. The tube is very snug and my tally looks like a purple lolly on a thin black stick. I up the pressure significantly, to the point where I am watching my glans carefully for possible blisters.
3 sets later, I peel off the rubber. Again, a difficult process requiring pliers this time to break the vacuum seal the rubber has formed against my skin. My expansion is minimal, certainly much less than if I had done 3 normal sets, and to top it off I have some fluid built up at a spot right under the frenulum that the tube didn’t cover — in fact, I think contributed to because of the pressure exerted there by the tube. Wasn’t a big deal and went down soon enough with some massage.
The long and the short of it is that I will be sticking to condom and regular pumping until a bigger tube can be found.
