Is this pump I just purchased okay?

Hey everyone, having snagged a better job and having a little additional spending money, the other night I bought a pump while out. Against my usual method or researching and all, I just bought one based off of some things I remembered reading on here that were essentials, like having a pressure gauge.

So the pump I got is a, - California Exotic Novelties Precision Pump Advanced 1, Clear - and I’m wondering if this one is of okay quality. I know that pumps bought in adult stores have a bad reputation from what I’ve read, but I bought the one that seemed most heavy and durable. The online reviews from Amazon said mostly positive things, but I was hoping to get some insight from any members on here with knowledge and experience. I got a 2.25” tube wince my EG is about 5.5 abs I am going for girth mostly.

So I really have just a couple of questions here: Is this pump of decent quality? Also, it comes with silicone base sleeve. Would it be better to just remove it and exclusively use the cylinder with no sleeve for pumping? And if I need to post a picture or anything to show what it looks like, I can do that as well.

The hand pump and gauge is good quality. I can’t tell how sturdy the cylinder is, but it should at least be good enough to let you know if you will enjoy pumping. If the cylinder is made from thick enough plastic it should be comfortable enough to use with or without the sleeve.

Thank you, gprent. I appreciate your reply! It makes me feel a little better about my somewhat impulsive purchase too. And that’s great. I’ll keep that link for the future if I want to purchase another cylinder. I’ve thought of purchasing one that is slightly smaller to alternate with.
