I am interested in buying or making a good but inexpensive cylinder. But before I go DIY (Do It Yourself) does anyone know of the least expensive place to order a cylinder?

Sounds like a good price. I got my tube from monsternuts.com for $54 which included shipping. Only downside was it took 3 weeks to get here. : (
Got my Mityvac pump from pumptoys.com $35 and you will need a hose barb $8. Might be able to find a better deal in the autoparts store, not sure.
The whole package is going to cost about $80-$100 depending on where you find the parts local or internet etc.
I was thinking of making my own too but I wanted to get started right away instead of working out design flaws and tweaking it. Surprisingly its easy enough. If you have the time and patience go for it. You can use caulk tubing, aquarium tubes, or plexi glass tubes.
The good thing is you can make your own custom tubes. Hell, I’m making my next tube!
