Well I have had the longjohn only about a week and has been used maybe 4-5 x. I thought I would like the package pumping , but have decided that straight cock pumping is for me. Just for info. When I first started using my longjohnny I wasn’t sure if I liked it either. But I stuck with it and used it off and on with regular pumping. I would say within 2, maybe 3 weeks, the transformation took place and I started liking the full package pumping much better than regular pumping. You might want to hang in there a little longer, because your transformation might be just around the corner. :)
One thing I did was stop using regular lube and just start using cornstarch baby powder as a lube so I could pump dry. There is no chance of getting stuck, so I figured dry lube is OK. The dry lube makes the process more convenient and a lot less hassle.

Well, not necessarily only to “make the balls and all bigger”. I did not buy mine for that reason.
I have a Long Johnny as well, and I also like it quite a bit. One of the touted benefits is that you get a different stretch from the Long Johnny (or from any full package cylinder, for that matter) than you do from the more common straight tube. Full package pumping is supposed to promote more complete shaft expansion, more deeply to the base/root of your penis.

I like to switch back and forth between a full package pump and just cock and sometimes just balls (2” cylinder works nicely). There is a different effect for each. Different stresses = well rounded results.
Another benefit to full package pumping is the extra stretch it puts on the suspensory ligaments. If penis length is your concern, this could be another thing to add to your pe regimen.
