Losing vacuum pressure gradually. Is this normal?

Electric pumps are too expensive though. I’m gonna try sealing every nook and cranny I can find. What’s the best way to seal the male threaded valve that connects the hose and goes into the female threaded valve (cylinder)? The o-ring on the male threaded valve is too weak I think.

Harbor Freight pump is a manual pump and appears to be the same pump LAPump sells for about $60. I paid $17 with a coupon from an automotive magazine plus $1.25 for the male coupler from McMaster and Karr.

I’m surprised because I can’t see how it’s losing pressure from the hose. Both ends are tightened very securely, and can’t be tightened any further. How can you lose pressure from the hose? Do you have any explanation for this?

Looks like you narrowed it down to the hose. If the connections are tight, you probably have a small hole in your hose. No big deal, just replace it and see if you still have problems.

As someone said before, you will lose vacuum gradually in the cylinder as your penis expands. Nothing you can do about that. I actually like it because it gives a quantity to how much you are expanding.

I had this problem about a month ago, had to buy a new pump. Went a bought a mityvac pump from Autozone and it works like a charm. Pumps wear out if they are the cheaper ones.
