Mityvac handle connector pins

So these pieces wear out eventually (especially the ones that are like hollow split-pins, and not full steel), just happened to me. Now I managed to jam the broken pin there and made it work somehow but I’m too scared to take it out to measure it’s diameter. Can someone measure their own cross pin for me? And does anyone know where to buy these from the internet? If I can’t find where to order them, I think I will have to go hardware store.

I emailed Mityvac about em already and I’ll keep you posted about it if they sell em or not.

Mine is a .125" x .500" roll pin. I’d hazard to guess $0.20 or less at the hardware store.

Yep, no reply from Mityvac, so whether a consumer is able to purchase such items from them is a mystery. I’m sure they prefer you to buy a whole new pump after a pin breaks, that’s probably why they made pins hollow on newer pumps in the first place. Maybe try Temu or Aliexpress if you need one…

But for me this thing turned out to be fine, I managed to find my two extra pins from my older pumps. And one of them ain’t hollow.
