Recently my MityVac MV6203’s handle broke at the pivot point.

If there is anything you can do to help, that would be great.

Thanks,

I wanted to just state the problem to see what they offer.

I’ll post when I get a reply.

About the attatchment.
Read the text under the Mityvac link.

Got a reply back, here is what he said.

I replied back telling them when I bought it and asking how long the warranty is for.

Thanks for finding out where to get replacement handles. I broke one too. Lucky I had an old Mitvac (non-gauge type) to replace it with. But I expect it might brake too. Though lately I’ve been using my home made suck-&-release type pump using an electric aspirator, a wonderful toy!

Here is what he said, which he should have said in the first letter.

It would probably be worth taking to Autozone as they probably just hand over a brand new one but I don’t feel like messing with it.

I received my order from here .

I ordered it late last Saturday so it couldn’t have been processed and shipped until Monday at the earliest.
Looking at packaging slip they didn’t process my order until Wednesday. It shipped the same day and only took two days to get here.
They ship via USPS first class (at least when ordering 5 small and light parts) so shipping time would be different depending on how far away from Cleveland, OH you live.
They overcharge on shipping a bit (at least when ordering 5 small and light parts) but who doesn’t. They charged $6.50 but only use $1.75 in stamps.

I have had this happen too.One of my pumper buddies from Palm Springs told me to go to PEP BOYS, the auto parts store and purchased a brake bleeding lit, less than $45.00. It comes with all kinds of parts, so I hooked it up and it works, comes with a pressure gauge and all. So that is am easy one. And the parts guys have not a clue.I am sure this will fix the problem.

I think thats the same one he is talking about.
P.S. Pumper buddies?

Which pump are you guys using?

I’m using the MV6203 seen here .

I bought it at AutoZone for about $20-30.

Great timing. The day after I read this my handle broke. I took it back to Sears where it was purchased with receipt, package, and bag. Sears said tough luck. I ordered two new handles yesterday. Thanks for all the information guys.
