Is the pump still available for sale? And is everything working on the pump. Looking to start pumping and I am looking for an electric pump to start. Perfer an electric pump then a manual hand pump.

Everything on the pump works fine. The only thing u will need is a vacuum gauge. My broke. I believe shipping will cost like 20 in the US. It will go usps

Seems like that is serious overkill for pumping.

You need to be able to pull no more than 10 inches Hg, with virtually no flow.

Expensive pumps are good if you need high vacuum AND decent flow.

I know what u mean but at the time I bought it 15 years ago, it was Dr. Joel Kaplans #1 electric pump. I think it still is.
