Pressure with water

I did a search and couldn’t find an answer as to what pressure to use for water pumping.
Currently I use 5”Hg for pumping. Should I use that pressure also for water, or should I lower it?
If I should use lower, What pressure do you recommend?
I have been pumping for approximately 1 year and just want to experiment a bit with water, but don’t want to injure myself and water blisters don’t sound fun either.
Any help or recommendations on water pumping would be appreciated.

I would err on the side of caution and start with as low a pressure as possible. You are aware that normal pump gauges will go to hell if they encounter water right?

I always use warm water in the tube and I think is the best workout, here is how I do:

I start with air as usual and in about five minutes I reach about my BP length, then I open the warm water and disconnect the pump from the tube, bend the plastic to prevent the air to get in, put the tube in the water and let pressure suck the warm water in the tube. From then on I use my mouth to pump and when it is all full of warm water I reach a pressure that is completely comfortable, seal the tube and start reading something. Every ten or twenty minutes I release completely and give it a few strokes of jelq starting very lightly. Girth increases are amazing.

I was just going to ask how this water pumping is done. Anyways I have a hand held Dr. Joel Kaplan pump and I was wanting to use warm water in the tube but I thought I would ask here before destroying my pump. I figured maybe you guys used a special in-line valve to keep water out of the pump unless you guys are using a special pump that tolerates water but I figured water would ruin the pump and gage on mine. So exactly whats the best way to accomplish this with the kind of pump I have?

I’m intrigued by the idea of water pumping, but as Thunder says, a regular pump with gage will get wrecked. Anybody had any experience with a pump like the one pictured here. The specs say it is suitable for siphoning fluids.

Mogro, some years ago another site had such a pump for waterpumping. This would work. That cup will catch any stray water. My concern is “If” the handles on the pump are plastic…Well we know the stories about those. Thing even has a guage. Impressive. I’ve done waterpumping before and it does not have the bruising as badly as regular pumping and the warm water aids in quick expansion. Steve

has any one tryed or heard of the bathmate pump on ebay it uses water to make suction no pump on there site they have a clip on how to use it has before and after and it looks like it help

It turns out that the pump and the container for catching fluids are separate. In the picture it looks like the container is attached to the pump. I bought one anyway and it works quite well even if it is a separate piece. (And the pump is not plastic. All metal construction. The gauge on my other pump is better but the unit works fine.)

So I had my first water pumping session this morning and the warm water is great. I can’t say that I noticed remarkably better expansion but time will tell. Since I also vacuum hang, the glans tends to peel a bit. I think vacuum hanging damages the top layer of skin. When I water pumped this morning the top layer of skin (previously damaged by vacuum hanging) got noticeably white. Sort of the same colour as when you are in the water for a really long time and your skin gets wrinkled and whiter. I wondered if it was going to peel off but it did not seem to matter.

How did this setup work for you?

I’m interested in water pumping. I’ve got the deluxe pump with gauge from LA and wondering if I just introduce that chamber (is it a plenum?) in between the pump and the cylinder, that I can use my current LA pump for water pumping? My concern is that warm water vapor from the chamber would enter the pump and gauge itself possibly causing damage over time.

I bought my bathmate at the Megasizer site, it was cheaper than ebay. It’s been working pretty good so far. The most incredible thing is the lack of soreness and almost none scary blisters. The suction that the warm water produces is very pleasurable. I’ve been using for about 2 weeks now.anybody else using it?

Have you had any problems with having your testicles sucked towards/inside the tube while using the bathmate? I have read the stats on the bathmate and I believe the tube has a 2.25” inside diameter, which is huge.

For those interested, I made a water trap from an old pickle jar with a metal screw lid. I drilled a couple of holes either side of the lid to take appropriate size hose connection elbows bought from my local D.I.Y. I glued these in with plastic padding, then put silicon sealant on the inside of the lid before screwing it back. Left the lot 24 hours to fully set before running a test with it in line; perfect!
