Pump Problems

I have a newer pump from Harbor Freight. Today it will not go any higher than 5HG. Don’t really need more, but I took the hose off the pump end and put a finger over the reduction nipple and still nothing over 5HG. Anyone else had this to happen and if so, were you successful on a repair or remedy?

Never heard of that problem before. Maybe try the pump up to 5 with your finger over the nipple and give the gauge a little tap to shake the needle free. It might just be stuck on something minor and need a little jolt to set it free.

Or, continue to use it as is, but always pump just below 5, just to make sure you are not inadvertently pumping at some unknown pressure over 5.

Mine just arrived this afternoon, from Harbor Freight. It seems ok. You might check & look to see that the last fitting on the pump cylinder is screwed in tightly. This is the fitting you attach the hose to, and that the gauge is also screwed in tightly. Did your pump used to go above 5hg ? If you have dropped it, you may have caused something to be leaking air.

Fortunately, it is not too expensive to replace.

Hey this is off topic but what do you think I should do if I cracked my pump? I rinsed it through with really hot water, this is why it’s cracked. Do I need to order a new one?

Is the gauge screwed in tightly?

If it is cracked it probably won’t hold a vacuum. If it does then it might implode upon your penis .

Get a new one.

Sometimes, again sometimes crazy glue will seep into the crack and seal it. If that don’t work then a new tube will need to be bought.

I would get a new tube.

I agree. Buying a new cylinder is a lot cheaper than buying a new penis :)

Are we still talking about the same problem? It originally sounded like the pump does not create a vacuum even when the tube is not attached. I.e., a cracked tube would not be causing the problem.

Thanks guys, I’m not a regular member here so forgive me for not replying quickly. I have a larger pump from LA pump, 10 inches long and 2 1/2” (I think) in width opening. Of course it makes my penis huge, but I think it’s wiser to use a pump that fits well and allows for more gradual expansion. Also, I don’t have the time and privacy to pump every day. Could I possibly warm up, jelq, and pump on a slightly higher pressure and still gain some girth?
