Pumping Gains?

I just started my split routine about 2 months ago. I do short sessions 2-3 times per day.

I do this mainly for the flaccid gains. My routine consist of pumping and jelquing right now.

I would love for permanent gains to come, but my focus right now is conditioning my unit for clamping.


CURRENT 04/11/2007 7.5 EBP X 5.25 EG Mid Shaft, 6.5 NBPEL!

GOAL 05/30/2008 8.5 EBP X 6.00 EG Mid Shaft, 7.5 NBPEL!

I try not to get discouraged because I don’t see immediate results. I do two 10 minute sessions with jelqing in between. I do a warm wrap afterwards, but my unit goes back to normal almost immediately after I finish my session. Clamping works great, but I think I’ll hold off until my penis is a little more conditioned to handle stress. I came to this conclusion after reading the instructions on clamping at the beginning of this site. There was some discomfort and soreness when I first started. Anyway, have any of you had permanent results from pumping? If so, how much did you increase your size and how long did it take?

It’s slow but pumping/jelqing combination does increase girth.

Thanks alot guys! I will stay at 8 and perhaps go for longer sessions. currently im not real consistent with the pump but usually 4 times a week but I will try and improve on that as well.

How often should we pump? The directions that come with each pump say that 3 - 5 times a week is enough. Normally I’ll go 3 times a week. I’m going to increase that to 5 and give it at least another 2 months.

Oh yeah, have any of you noticed less feeling in your penis and/or having problems with gaining a full, hard erection? I heard this can be a side effect of pumping.

The only side effect I’ve seen is that it is easier for me to get erections. Including morning wood and just random seeing a cute girl walk by.

The latter hasn’t been happening for me for a while - since my mid-thirties. It’s kinda cool. I haven’t been at the pumping all that long and I’m fairly conservative about time in the tube and pressure, but that’s what I’ve noticed thus far.

I’m 5.5” girth, and I am using a 2” cylinder. I pack part of it but not all. Even if I go up in pressure to 8 or so, my unit is not lengthened in the cylinder. It stays at it’s normal erect length. I’m thinking about getting a 1.75” cylinder, but I wonder if I’ll still have the same problem.

It must be said, I’m a hard gainer in the length department.

Although I’ve said that I’m mostly interested in girth, I think I may change my tune if Mr. Happy continues to get wider without getting longer.

Give it some more time…Patience my friend, patience :) About 1 month with the pump is not going to make permanent changes but rest assured that
you are making some progress even though the results are not visible at this point. Check back in another month or two and you should see some modest gains. Try pumping without the gauge and pump until you start to feel a lot of pressure build up in the base where the flange meets your skin. Dont pump until you feel pain but just until you feel mild discomfort and then hold that pressure there for the length of the session. Longer sessions at lower pressure is the key but it takes time for your unit to be able to deal with a 60min session. SO DONT RUSH! Watch out for red dots or bruises on your unit ( busted capillaries) because that means you are over doing it.

If a person is trying to get length through pumping, what tips do you have?

In your above post, you talk about using whatever pressure gives you mild discomfort. But you also speak of longer sessions at lower pressure. For length, what pressure and length of sessions did you find best? Shorter sessions at slightly higher pressure, or longer sessions at lower pressure?

As I say above, even at a pressure of 8, my unit does not become longer in the cylinder. Thicker yes, longer no! Is this atypical?

Ok I finally got some time to pump again so I went 2 sets @ 20 min each @ 8hg and after the second set I was HUGE but im sure its lymph buildup, My cock looks like it had silicone injections. So any advice? Maybe 15 min or less hg? Btw I did manage to pack the 1.75 tube up to the glans.

Ok today I went for 2 sets @ 8 hg for 15 min and had less build up and seems to work better.

Have you also incorporated a jelking routine between pump sets? This should encourgage length gain.

Get as thin a cylinder as possible so that girth expansion will be limited.

How long does it take before you can start to see permanent gains. Coming out of the tube is pretty much like deflating it for me. I also get no length gains, but it looks awesome in the tube.
