From my experience I would guess that there would be, maybe not to the same degree.

Pulling on a tube is going to significantly increase the vacuum level, so I see potential problems.

I’m not saying pull on the tube, I’m just saying the exercise itself.

I pull on the tube, like a milking fashion. Using the gauge, I start at 3HG and pull to 7-8HG for 2 minutes at the end of a session. I found it is actually helping to rejuvenate my lost foreskin which I want. About ligaments, I don’t think so, but maybe a bonus.

It hasn’t affect my ligs.

I have a loop on the end of my pump and a hook on the ceiling above my bed. I have an adjustable bungee strap that I hook between the two for a gentle tug. I figure it gives a nice stretch to my ligaments and it’s a lot easier than just grabbing my dick with my hand and yanking.

In my opinion, pumping has only a limited effect on ligament stretching. However, pumping helps maintain the stretch following a session in the extender.

I pump to almost full pressure and then push down approx. 4 inches, then up and then side to side. I wouldn’t suggest this to someone starting out. It gives a good stretch to the ligaments.

Without a doubt, high vacuum/short duration pumping does stretch ligaments; to wit: I do a Sumo Stretch, which generates a ligament pop, prior to said pumping; after which, another Sumo Stretch produces another ligament pop.

That doesn’t happen with conventional, i.e., low vacuum/long duration pumping.

I pull off the root a bit, then lower the top of the tube to my belly and lever up everything below the doughnut. It seems to stretch below where the extender is pulling. With the doughnut seal, I can do repetitions of pressing and lifting, like 20 times a set, or I can hold the press.

I also do the jack pull others have described.
