Upping cylinder?

Upping cylinder?

I’m pumping, and a small guy who just filled a small cylinder. I do fill it completely after 40 min. Two questions: Should I buy the next size cylinder, using gprent’s chart? And are cemented/permanent gains around the corner?

Keep filling that small cyllinder for the next couple of months. You can increase the duration. If your cockhead is pressing too hard against the end of the tube or the the air nipple, you will have to go up a size. I would go after length gains first if I were you. So you can keep the tube diameter the same and get an inch longer tube.

Length ain’t my prob, need the girth. Tip still applies though?

If girth is your goal, I recommend you get the next larger size. If your Girth is under 5” and you can afford it, I further recommend you move up to the same nominal size in an eliptical cylinder. I started with a 1.5” and moved up to a 1.5” eliptical from LAPump which measures 1.5” x 1.75 which is equivalent to a 1.625” round cylinder. I then moved up to a 1.75” round followed by a 1.75” eliptical (1.74 x 2”). By moving up by smaller incraments, I avoided excess edema and the doughnut effect.

Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Move to the next size.

I agree with this elliptical and then roundtube strategy. Move to the next elliptical size tube opward. Ensure there enough length at the end of the tube to stretch forward. Do not make the length at the end of the tube TOO LONG because it will discourage you.

Thank you very much for your replies. Where can I find such a tube though? Do you guys make your own? Last time I ordered from LA pumps.

LA Pumps and LAP DIst

Thank you. I didn’t see the tubes there at first.

I am studying about a first cylinder to purchase. I had been figuring on just getting a 1.75” cylinder, as my normal EG is around 5” give or take depending on EQ and position on the shaft.

However, I have taken clamping back up occasionally, doing sets 1-2 days per week, nothing too extreme. By my last set I am measuring nearly 5.75” around mid-shaft while in the clamp.

Given that I see this kind of expansion clamped, should I opt for a 1.75/2.0 elliptical instead if I am mostly concerned with girth? I don’t want to get one too large, but I also don’t want to buy another cylinder a month later.

Thanks

My normal MSEG is 5.2 to 5.25 inches. Pumped and constricted, it is about 5.5”. When pumped and subsequently clamped it can be a bit over 5.75”. I find the 1.75” round cylinder to be fine when doing 20 minute sessions at 5 hg. However, when I pump for over 45 minutes at 4 hg I pack at least 3/4 of the cylinder. I now have a 1.75 x 2” eliptical (LAP) for longer pumping sessions.

Unfortunately, you seem to be right in the middle of the two options.

Since your normal MSEG is 5”, I would go for the 1.75 round, especially if you can afford to move up to the 1.75 x 2” cylinder within the next year.

That is what I am leaning toward.
