Sweeternuts,

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look at the ctc digimax 4000.

So is this Pulsar quiet or not? I normally pump at night in my room, and if it is louder.

S.S.C.,

It makes a little noise if you place it on the Pulsar mixed mode but manual mode it is quiet but not like a generator that is going on outside. Lol

If you have a man cave or an office to your self at home, it is good to go bro!

Thank You, P6. I am only interested in this pulsar because of the pulsar mode, but if it makes noise.. You know, in the night everything sounds even more!

Maybe if I cover it with a towel it will decrease the noise, right? Or you need a special box?

I have the Pulsar, I bought it second hand and for the noise, I think a towel over it might muffle it a bit. It make a pulsating sound on the mixed mode that is not soo load but makes sounds. I wish I could record for you and post it to this forum. in the fixed mode it is quite for sure.

A question I have to ask has anyone with a pulsar been having issues with theirs, I have had mine less than a year and I am mostly curious

Not really. The only issue I have with mine is the suction doesn’t stabilize over 6.5 Hg’s, but since I rarely use it over 6 Hg’s it’s not that big a deal.

I have noticed that issue as well,

Selling Vacutech Pulsar

I’m actually looking to sell my Pulsar. I’ve had great experience with it and really enjoyed using it, but being that I have to keep PE on the down low from my wife and the fact that my house is tiny, the Pulsar is a bit too loud for my purposes. When I have the house to myself I enjoy cycling through the settings for two, twenty minute sets at 5Hg’s, 60%.

If anyone is looking to buy the Vacutech Pulsar with battery pack from me for $500 let me know! I bought it last fall and have only used it a handful (no pun intended) of times.

If the house is dead quiet, like at night when everyone’s sleeping, and there isn’t another distracting noise source on in the house, such as, a television or a radio, then they will hear it if they’re awake. If they’re sleeping, I think you will be fine as long as you aren’t in the same room. If there was anyway for you to build a noise reduction box, similar to the kind you see for air compressors, I think you’d be golden. I have two kids now and can’t for the life of me stay consistent with my PE schedule, that’s why I’m selling my Pulsar. Other than that, I love it.

I feel like there has been a post of mine removed and this thread has been sanitized, cause while I was at first happy with my purchase of the pulsar save the pulsar function,(have never liked it)

I have owned it less than a year wiith near daily use 3.5hg for roughly 2 hours it now fails to work properly, at this time. It does come with a six month warranty…

I am outside of that time frame,
I emailed them and the response I received was call jim

I will try and update, if I find a result

Only duplicated content could be removed, and this didn’t happened. Nothing was removed in this thread.

Over the years I’ve gone from the hand pumps to the CTC XL2000 that is a beast and I love it but I stepped up to the vacutech and love it. I just use the pulsar setting and 6 / 35 and run through the program steps. I use a rice sack for heat and pack the 1.75 tube and after 30 min I step up to the 2.25 tube and have been getting to pack that on and off. I love it its sweet and I won’t go back. Although the CTC was GREAT for nipples but the Pulsar not so much

I have to post my CTC for sale shortly

I’m on my 3rd year with the Pulsar and have yet to have an issue, typically use it 1-2 times a week for an hour. But aspiring to do more seasonally.
