Warning! Heat pad pumping causes cancer!

I have no idea if this guy’s a nut, or the dangers are being exaggerated here, or what, but I thought I’d pass it on:

"Some guys are using electric heating pads or blankets to keep their tube warm. As for the electric blanket, I would recommend using hot water instead. Electric blankets give off EMF’s which are harmful electro magnetic frequencies, I can send you some research in this area if you like, but essentially it is hazardous to your health and similar to the leukemia cancer, etc., that people who live under high tension power lines get. What good is a huge dick if you have testicular cancer, right? I don’t mean to bum you out but hey we have to be smart, and share the good points as well as the bad."

This electric blanket/heating pad thing has been a perennial discussion in America, as has the one about living under or very hear high-volume electric power lines. So far nobody has proved a cancer link.

Until someone comes up with some definitive evidence and that hasn’t happened yet, this seems to be alarmist bull-crap.

Actually the premise has been fully disproved. The guy that came up with the research admitted that he made up “the facts” for his $25,000,000 grant he got from the government. He only had about 6 mil left when the government caught up to him for fraud. The settlement was he had to give back the 6 million and is ineligible for federal grants for 3years (I believe).
This is the same guy to gave (and got paid for) expert testimony in EM lawsuits. Crime does pay.

Relative to birth defects and electric blankets, the jury is still out as to whether its EM or the heat that causes the defects. Which means that if your honey is with child, she shouldn’t be toasty warm under those blankets/comforters— electric or not.

I think flatulent penguins are responsible for so-called “global warming.” Maybe I can get a government grant to study the issue.

Seriously, there is speculation that talcum powder (common stretching aid) increases the risk of ovarian cancer. Last I looked there weren’t any definitive studies on the matter, but to be on the safe side wash it off your pecker before you do your woman.

That’s my reason and your not getting my $25 million!

Can anyone get a federal grant?
