Width effect cylinder fit?

My girth is a low 4.25-4.4”, but my width is slightly over 1.5”. The sizing charts only go by girth circumference and they recommend a 1.5” tube for my girth. However, because I am 1.5” wide, will I be able to fit in the tube? Should I just go with the 1.75” cylinder?

How do you feel about developing additional width versus developing additional girth?

If you want to develop additional girth without necessarily getting a lot wider, go with the smaller tube.

If you’re open to developing additional width in addition to additional girth, go with the larger tube.

I’m down with both, so I suppose the 1.75” cylinder is a better fit for me.

LAPump makes a 1.5 inch Wide Mouth oval cylinder which is 1.5 x 1.75 and seems a good fit for your shape. I was about 4.5 and used a 1.5 tube for about 3 months before fully packing it and ordered the wide mouth. After 9 months using the Wide Mouth I now pack half way up the the Wide Mouth.
