I just placed an order for the Zen Electric Automatic Pump from Zen Hanger. Does anyone have experience with this pump? I was using a bathmate prior and had so many issues with my balls and veins around the area getting sucked in. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a Varicocele and don’t want any unnecessary pressure around that area. Do you think I’ll have that same issue with the zen pump?

Any penis pump cylinder will put pressure around your testicles when under vacuum, unless they hang very loose and low (as in far away from the base of your penis).

Occasionally, a testicle can even get sucked into the tube. It’s a rather unpleasant sensation…

I would be very careful…

I have a Zen Hanger Electric Pump. It has quite a few pros and a few cons. Before, I feel it is important to use the right tool for the job. With that said, my primary objective for using the Zen Pump is erection health and quality rather than an attempt to change the size and shape; I have been an avid exercise enthusiast my entire life and believe in working out every part of my body. I think the other piece of pertinent information is the manner in which the tool is employed. I personally use the Low/Slow approach, as I am in no hurry and do not wish to damage my best pal. With the preamble concluded I shall list the pros and cons below:

Pros:
1. The pump is easy to operate and is very precise. Great for bouncing your pressure.
2. It has a timer. Thank you Zen! No more fumbling for the iphone.
3. The pump is measure in KPA rather than Hg. I prefer this as protecting my buddy is an imperative. KPA is roughly 1/3 (.29) of an Hg, so it gives you the ability to micro adjust. I will provide my routine below.
3. The unit is REALLY comfortable; mandatory for extended pumping sessions given that I prefer the Low/Slow method. The "Ultra Comfortable Patented Base" is not just marketing, it really works. It aids in holding pressure while keeping your balls out of the tube.

Cons:
1. The automatic settings that maintains the pressure to -5 KPA are too high in my opinion. They begin at 30KPA (8.8 hg). I don’t pump that high, so it is a wasted feature that I ignore. I believe the setting are at 30, 40, 50 KPA.
2. The instructions provided by the vendor for settings and times are way too aggressive unless you are seasoned pumper with a high pressure tolerance.
3. The tube only comes in to sizes (Standard: 2.5" and XtraLarge 3.25"). This makes it a good unit for girth seekers and those, like myself just exercising their unit. If you are looking for length, you need to tailor the tube diameter to your personal dimensions.

My Routine:
Primary objective: Maximize blood flow and tension for extended periods. Get all those nutrients to the right places.

1. Warm shower for warm up. Stretching (All angles for 30 seconds twice).
2. Attach base to tube. Apply lube to myself, the silicon base and ANY SPOT THAT YOU MAY TOUCH WITH YOU PENIS IN THE TUBE.
3. Insert penis into the base and adjust until comfortable.
4. Attach pump to the top and increase vacuum to 3KPA (1Hg) and hold pressure for 3 minutes (Since you have the timer right under the pressure readout on the unit, it’s easy)
5. At 3 minutes increase vacuum to 6KPA (2Hg) and hold for 3 Min.
6. At 6 minutes increase vacuum to 9KPA (3Hg) and hold for 3 min
7. At 9 minutes (can you guess?) increase to 12KPA (4Hg) for 3 min

REST for 2-3 minutes
1. Release vacuum.
2. Remove pump from tube and extricate yourself from the base.
3. Apply Warm, wet wash cloth alternating with hot goat rolls. Treat you boy good between rounds. He as a few more to go.

The next two rounds are similar with a couple of modifications:
1. I step up the pressure by beginning at 6KPA rather than 3KPA. But only if I think there has been a lot of deflation between round. If there is I will start at 3KPA for about a min. Just to wake things up. Then proceed to 6KPA for the remain two minutes.
2. Kegels. Starting at the 3 minute mark, I do Kegels for 1 minute, rest for 1 minute until the session is completed. Continuing to step up pressure by 3KPA.
3. The 3rd and final round is just kicking back. My steps are 6KPA for 3, 12KPA for 3, 15 for the remainder.

COOL DOWN:
1. Back in the shower. Warm water and goat rolls.
2. Stretching in all directions.
3. Hot water.don’t be in a hurry.

There you have it, the Rio-Exercise Routine. Please don’t ask me about size increases as I don’t track them. As I stated above, this is exercise that I do for a dear and cherished friend who I want to see operating at peak performance for as long as he can. :)
