Yesterday morning I finally got out on the bicycle again. Back in November I was able to do 20 miles easily. After five months, my knees burned at four miles and I ran out of breath shortly after. I bailed at 7 miles. My knees are still a bit tender.

Apparently squats and deadlifting don’t cross over to bicycling as far as knee rehab.

Yesterday afternoon I spent an hour and a half with the hedge shears and branch nipper. Despite all the dumbbell, cable, and barbell work, my shoulders are killing me. I have reasonable strength, but very little endurance.

Yeah I discovered much the same on the hill yesterday. I have work to do and Summer is coming.

All that light lifting will kill you. Recently bought a pole chain saw, which helps somewhat. But I still end up with some soreness.
