You do not need to squeeze very tightly for the jelq. It suffices if you feel the blood moving around.
I read somewhere that the force required to do it does should be weak enough that when you jelqed say an egg, that it wouldn’t break. That force already suffices!
Low EQ, weak jelqs but for a longer time did the job for me, for length gains!

Edit: I remember I once had numbness as well. It also happened when I did erect jelqs with a tighter grip/squeeze.
So.. just avoid them, they are not necessary. I was doing them because I was aiming for girth. That didn’t go too well xD

Yes, everyone seems to agree the more heat the better ;) . But right now I’m recovering from a little bit of over training (I think I hurt the nerve hub just behind the glans a little) so I’m not doing actual PE until that’s sorted out. Thanks for the reminder though!

How can I tell if the blood is moving? So far I’ve done it on visual inspection (shaft behind hand is narrower than in front of it, glans swells). I’m not jelqing for PE right now though, just keeping the blood flowing until I’m recovered. What did you do against the numbness? Have you tried squeezing an egg to bits? It’s quite a lot harder than you think haha. Thanks though ;)

That works for me too. At least for now, I find jelqing recuperative. Helps revive my unit after pumping or hanging. So soft is better.

Well.. you feel it. Don’t know how to describe this, its plain and simple. When you push all the blood upwards into the glans, the glans obviously swells. Just do not put too much stress on your glans.

The numbness just faded and went away completely after rest.. over like 3-5 days or so!

Most important day counts:

Day 7 of injury, day 11 without porn. I’ve gotten used to no caffeine after.. 3? 4? Weeks.

Over the weekend my injury got a little worse, rubbing anywhere just under the head sent small bolts of pain through the head, but yesterday and today has been much better. My natural libido is improving (after injury and porn deprivation) and I refreshed the blood in the head without any pain by jelqing about 15 times under a hot shower. I’m focusing on form since that’s probably been the cause of my injury. I think I’ll lay off the PE for a few more days and resume after 2 days of no symptoms. Doing at least 150 5-second kegels per day now. Morning wood is now the standard though it feels a little small (after getting used to the big fat after-PE unit haha).

I can’t wait to get back in the game!

Day 13 without porn, 9 days into injury.

This is my second day of being virtually symptom free despite some punishing edging sessions (Monday night for about an hour, half an hour yesterday). I’ll resume PE tomorrow, all PIs say go. The main takeaways from my injury were: regulate EQ during jelqing (40%-50% seems to be ideal) and use the proper grip, stretch slowly and progressively and when edging after PE, don’t cum. Let’s do this boys, I can’t wait.

Simple routine today:

- Hot wrap for 6 or 7 minutes

- 5 Minutes stretch (in three stages for each direction, gently easing into it)

- 50 Jelqs at ~40% EQ. I don’t know exactly what’s the cause, but it’s much easier to retain blood in my unit during the jelqs. Could be the kegels, could be due to the lack of porn. I can only imagine that it’s a good thing though.

- Edging for about 14 minutes (didn’t reach ballooning state, damn it! :P), without ejaculating though dripping bunches of precum

- Extra hot shower

I noticed during the edging session that my unit is significantly bigger but it feels softer. Is that the lymph edema I’ve been reading about? After everything, unit looks normal, feels a little used. Let’s see what happens!

Another simple routine, same as yesterday except with a little more time stretching and no edging. Edged a little too hard yesterday I think, feeling a little sore at the base of my unit. I did have to wait between my jelqing session and the hot shower afterward because my mother called and rambled on for an hour and a half. Going to try to fowfer tonight and see if I get morning wood tomorrow.

I want to make standard intervals for measurements but I’m not sure how to space them yet. Also I used a shoelace to measure girth before, but it’s a few mm thick, so my new paper measuring ribbon should give much more accurate (though lower) readings.

Yesterday was a rest day, but I’ve tried to fowfer the past two nights. It is surprisingly comfortable, but I doubt its effectiveness because I have a huge excess of skin (When fully erect my foreskin still completely covers the head and has some left over). I do get the feeling that it might be good for recovery since it forces your unit in a warm, well-vasculated state. I’m testing different positions to fowfer while awake; if I fowfer and cross my legs, I can squeeze my inner thighs to get a real stretch going on my top ligaments. Experiments will continue.

I did another simple routine today: 7 minute hot wrap, 6 minute stretch, 5 minute hot wrap, 60 jelqs at 50-60% and edging for 8 to 10 minutes without cumming, finishing off with an extra hot shower as per usual. I’ll throw in 100-150 kegels later today. I think I want to keep ramping up slowly, making sure to keep tabs on my EQ and other PIs, and stop ramping if I notice significant progress.

Has anyone noticed differences between their morning wood and other erections? The former, for me, seems harder but less girthy, and the base (and internal penis) gets rock hard almost all the way back to the anus. Other erections during the day seem bigger but not quite as compact as it feels like I can still squeeze in the sides a little.

Though I’ve technically done a few days extra, I’m scratching them off and calling today day 2 of week 5

Routine today:

Hot wrap, 6 or 7 minutes

Stretching, up down left right and out, each direction first for 15 seconds, relax for 5 seconds, stretch for 20 second, relax for 5, stretch for 30. Feels good, hangs confidently afterwards. I’ll stick to this idea for a while I think, easing into the stretch. Maybe I’ll add 5 seconds to each stretch or so going forward because stretching is only ~6 minutes right now.

Another hot wrap, 5 minutes or so

60 jelqs, each hand does sets of 5 reps of which 2 in the direction of the hand, one up with overhand grip, and two out/down. Then switch hands. I’m feeling like I’m getting the hang of this jelqing, going with a ~50% erection. I edged a little, but only for a minute or two before deciding to shower off. I have a headache so edging isn’t much fun.

Hot shower with another 10 jelqs.

Later today I’ll throw in 100 to 150 kegels as per usual, I don’t like doing them before my session because it makes it harder to kegel during jelqs which in turn makes my EQ less consistent.

Unit hanging thicker but not noticeably longer after the session, which is fine by me. I’ve also been listening to this binaural/subliminal guy’s YT content, I’m on day 2. I’ll give it 2 weeks (since the claim is extraordinary, 2 weeks should be sufficient) but I’m not expecting anything. Day one did make my unit tingle for the first hour or so, especially just behind the glans in the shape of the corona itself. Day 2 gave no such effects.

I’ve been taking as accurate as possible ‘starting’ measurements over the weekend but it’s damn hard. I think I’ll measure my morning wood to track progress since though they’re not the biggest 100% erections I’m achieving, they do seem to be the most consistent and the easiest to maintain and therefore measure.

W5D3, same routine as yesterday but with a little more force and without the shower jelqs and about 10 minutes of edging. As always, kegels later.

I’ve noticed that my morning wood is not as amazing anymore, which I attribute to the stretches. Fowfer all night but I’m not sure it’s doing anything. It’s getting easier though, so I’ll keep doing it for a while. Erections during the edging session after PE are really big, certainly more girth than before, length is slightly more difficult to judge. It does not yet translate to ‘raw’ erections but slowly, something is happening. It does seem like the thinner parts of my penis have caught up with the more girthy parts but I never thought about measuring this so I can’t know for sure. Finally it’s day 3 of the subliminal/binaural video series. Same effect as day 1, without the headache.

Week 5 day 4, rest day

Today I did some kegels (about 120) and I edged for about 20 minutes while doing my very best to accurately measure my largest achievable erection (using a thin paper measuring tape). I wanted to take measurements based on my morning wood but I realized it might be impractical to do so because I don’t get to plan when I take my measurements. In addition to trying to measure accurately I’ve gone over my older notes (up to a few years back when I once started with PE here but never pulled through) and calculated how much girth the shoelace added when using it to measure my circumference (it’s 2*pi*half the thickness of the shoelace for any enclosed surface, in my case 4*pi = about 12.6 mm). After adjusting for all of this I’ve updated my signature. I’ve also discarded my ‘highest ever’ measurement as it may have been a ballooned state and I my goals are sex-oriented, I’m not looking to show off for 5 minutes with a long preparatory phase.

Since today is a rest day and measurements were just over 24 hours after my last PE session, I’m considering them valid. What are the results?

BPEL = 180 mm = 7.09”

MEG = 135 mm = 5.32”

My starting stats were (averaged from calculation, older notes and using morning wood sanity checks):

BPEL = 173 mm = 6.81”

MEG = 132 mm = 5.20”

So current verdict: length + 7 mm, girth + 3 mm. Unquantifiable results: 1) I have morning wood now, erections are easier and harder. 2) I’ve quit porn altogether and feel much more stable hormone wise. I never even realized it until I quit but I think porn was corrupting my view of women. Too bad I don’t own a camera or smart phone, it’s hard to take pictures with a ruler or measuring tape with my laptop lol. I’m going to meet my girlfriend again in September and I think she’ll be in for a surprise.
