Hope For Smaller Guys
This is my first and perhaps last post on Thunders. I made this post because I wanted to share about my own PE journey as someone who was insecure about his size and more importantly I wanted help other people who are perhaps in similar situations. I don’t consider myself a knowledgeable PE expert or someone pretends to know a lot about PE. If you are looking for a routine or technical details, I am sure there plenty of knowledgeable experts out there on Thunders. I just wanted to share how I personally gained around 2 inches in length and about .5 inches in girth.
The first time I went on Thunders I was looking at the people who posted their stats and I was both impressed and intimidated because they were so much larger than me. Most of the people that posted and that I looked up to for advice during my time at Thunders were all people that were much larger. While they served as great role models and were always trying help others, they also subconsciously heightened my insecurities about myself.
Some of questions I asked myself were:
"Is it possible for someone starting with much smaller stats to make the same kind of progress as them?"
"Is the advice they are sharing relevant to someone who is smaller?"
"Will I ever become average?"
In my head I had all these doubts. Perhaps few of you out there have had similar doubts at one of point or another during their PE journey.
My story begins as a teenager when I realized that I wasn’t as large as my other friends in the locker room. So, I started PE with a length somewhere around 3.3 inches and 4 inch girth. Those were my stats that I was born with and I was upset because all this was out of my control and I felt that I got short end of the stick.
I started with manual stretches. I believe it was 30 seconds in 9 directions for 3 sets.
I would do them without a routine or a plan. As a result, I would do them pretty inconsistently. Then I started logging to log my activities and recording periodically record my results periodically. results. I remember recording a .25 inch increase in length and then it moved up to .5. It was during that time I felt frustrated because I wasn’t gaining and I was stuck at flat line. I wasn’t sure what I was doing wrong or if was possible. I felt discouraged and lost my motivation to do PE consistently and think it was after year that I wanted to pick it up again.
So I started reading more on Thunders and becoming more detailed in my log. I started implementing a lot of changes and I took risks in trying new possibilities. I remember one thing that I seriously lacked was discipline in not over training and having sufficient rest days. Eventually, I got into routine that I was comfortable with and that integrated into my everyday activities. I almost did my PE exercises without thinking too much. Instead of obsessing over measuring myself, I would focus on making sure that my unit felt healthy and that I wasn’t over training, but also recognizing when it was time to change my routine.
During this time, I wasn’t only changing how I approached my PE workouts, but also other parts of my life. I started working out at least four to five times a week and attempted to reduce the amount of times I masturbated and smoked. The biggest change was a mind shift. PE and lifting weren’t some chore or activity that I had to do, but rather something that I was passionate about and loved to do. For me, it wasn’t just that I woke up one day and decided to love PE and lifting. It was something that just happened after consistently doing the same routine day after day. Just like anything else you are passionate about, results will eventually come with time. You just have to be patient. I remember one day, I hadn’t measured myself in almost 2 months and pulled out the ruler and saw how I far I had come. It was a shocking moment for me. When I was able to lose sight of the overall goal and instead focus on details of my everyday activities, I was able to see more results.
I was also not only experimenting with my routine and different exercises, but also with different supplementation. To be honest, I am unsure how supplementation has helped me gain, but for me it was also something that helped me feel good and healthy about myself. There was the small chance that taking supplements would aid my lifting and my PE, but on the large it probably would not make that large of a difference. But to me, even if it was a slight chance, I’d take it because I felt at the time that I had nothing to lose. Some of vitamins that I experimented with during this time were Animal Pak and Animal Pak PM, L-arginine, Tribulus, Niacin with flush, Super Primrose, Lecithin, L-Carnitine
I am currently about 5.3 inches in length and 4.5 inches in girth. I know that is still under average, but I will continue to PE until I reach my goals. I know that there are better of ways of going about PE and I still have to much to learn, but I really think PE is a journey of learning rather than a straight line. For me, I had lots of ups and downs, but I am glad to have come so far from where I started. I am sure most of you are starting with much larger stats, but I wanted to share for smaller people out there because it would meant the world to me if my future self had shared this story to my teenage-self. I also have a girlfriend and sex is great. One thing I wish I had told my younger self is that there are always people out there that will love you for who you are, even if you are small. That even if you get rejected, keep looking. I know that sounds so obvious and petty, but at the time I was feeling insecure about myself.
More importantly, I wanted to thank Thunders for really changing my life. I am so grateful to this wonderful community of people that have contributed to changing my life and increased my self-esteem.
Thanks for listening to my story.
