Major Blow Up with Penis Pump

12

I found myself in a similar position ,what helped me was the stop start method when taking a piss ,its both psychological and physical

I had to teach or relearn how to hold an erection ,almost euphoric in my opinion when I don’t have to focus on an erection OR its feeling as to say I can completely relax and have a huge member growing in the tube ,which is wrong ! Although it feels bloody good ,I got attracted to the feeling quick before I knew it I was wondering where my oomph went without the tube

Simply put my consolment is such , a man dedicated their life to the medical field and told you, you are alright.

Drink alot of water and do the start stop method for the week ,I do them constantly in the shower ,I do about 5 or 8 a day ,I maintain my school boy vigor also don’t pump and rest

If its beating you up about it take some vitamin b12 helps with dreams

My erections seem to be stronger at night—nearly 100% but still nothing in the day. I’d like to think it’s all psychological but there just seems to be a different texture to the flaccid fella. Not that I’d know exactly as I never paid that much attention, but it seems more rubbery or something—hard to explain. So the fear that I’ve destroyed nerves or something else continues to plague my thoughts. I’m hyperfocused on every little move or twist that never reached consciousness before. Did it move? Is it recovering? Was that twinge a new nerve growing back? I better reach down and make sure it’s warm enough to maximize blood circulation, etc..

But I like the advice of getting ginseng, ginko biloba and glutamine. I’ve already ordered those. And I’m going to try the L-Arginine and maybe Libido Max as well. There don’t seem to be any downside to any of these ideas. Who knows, I may pop a Cialis or two as well but I think I’ll wait on that until I see the urologist on the 10th. I don’t want to become dependent on a pill to get it up but maybe that wouldn’t happen.

Anyway, I appreciate all the considerate and measured advice. I’m a natural worrier and stress a lot but everything else pales in comparison to this. What was I thinking when I bought a pump from Amazon reviews and just went to town blowing it up like a balloon without considering the very real risks involved?

Thanks again to all and any additional thoughts, experiences or insight would be greatly appreciated!

One other thing that has contributed to ED problems with several men I’ve counseled is porn addiction. It’s seldom ever discussed because most everyone believes that porn stimulates, or helps produce erections. Initially that is true, but as men become addicted to porn the psychological / visual stimulus becomes dull. Not certain if this is part of the ED equation for you, but by chance if you are a habitual porn watcher, I’d suggest to drop it like a bad habit and refrain.

I’ve talked to many men who use porn while PE training and then over-train and injure themselves temporarily. The mind is a powerful thing and can be a positive or negative influence depending on what we see visually or think between our ears.

I appreciate the thoughts. I’ll give the start/stop a try and see how it feels. Maybe it will strengthen the reflexes. No porn issues. Married 30 years. Just trying to spice things up and thought a pump “fill me out” a little and make things a little more exciting in the bedroom. Clearly didn’t pan out like I imagined.

Especially listen to the guy saying the doctor actually told you, you are alright and nothing is wrong with your penis. Also as I am a cialis user myself, not trying to push you to use it but a very important thing about all ed drugs is they do not make you dependant on them on the contrary they will make your erections without them better. Get well and try to accept the doctors verdict that at least physically nothing is wrong with your penis.

Did you warm up with a rice sock or a heating pad ahead of time? You didn’t say you did, I was just wondering.

Lots of positive comments about Cialis. I am glad to hear it doesn’t make you dependent. I don’t want to have to use a pill every time for the rest of my life—but I guess that would be preferable to nothing. I’m sure my urologist will discuss this option when I meet with him in a couple of weeks. And I did not warm up with a heating pad or stretches or anything. Like I said, it was a ridiculous thing to do..

And I really appreciate the feedback and positive comments. They are definitely calming me down and giving me some perspective that many of you have healed from critical situations. I’m now nine days into this and while I’d like the dilemma to be resolved, it seems like I’ve made some progress with the strength of my nighttime erections. I’m hoping that’s providing adequate blood and oxygen to tissue and arteries as I’m not even remotely thinking about doing anything during the day as many of you have advised against it for up to 60 days.

Recovery log

Perhaps you can give account of the steps you’ve taken to overcome your injury, it would make a wonderful thread to read.
