Not Your Typical Progress Report

Not Your Typical Progress Report

I understand most of you guys are used to reading progress reports that are mostly positive but I feel the need to share my own experience as to warn anyone trying PE for the first time.

I started PE back in January and for the first 2 months made noticeable gains with no drop in EQ. However, sometime towards the end of February I lost my ability to get an erection entirely.

I quit all porn and masturbation in an effort to cure myself and finally around May got the ability to maintain an 80% erection for a minute or two. Another couple of months have passed since and nothing has changed.

I’ve cut all contact with my two friends-with-benefits out of embarrassment and have only slept with one person since February, which I shamefully admit was a prostitute in Amsterdam. She was barely able to get me hard enough for penetration and was only able to last a minute with her due to the extremely bad sexual anxiety I’ve developed. Getting with girls is a mess nowadays trying to make sure I don’t push things any further than just kissing.

Doctors have prescribed Viagra for me (which does not work) and they believe it’s all down to a breakup with a girl back in February. At this stage though I’m certain it’s a penile injury.

I’d apologise for the grim post but I feel like its important to let young guys like myself know the dangers of what this can do to you. I get bouts of depression very frequently but keep myself occupied with the gym and rugby. However, having a satisfying sex life is a thing of the past, and wouldn’t wish this upon anyone, hence why I’m posting this to warn you guys.

Just stay safe gentlemen when doing PE, and be happy with what you have.

What was your routine like? Also, did you suffer any injuries while doing PE?

It was the beginners one I believe but with less jelqing involved. Only doing 3-4 seconds 50-75 times. Still made gains with it.

And in regards to the gym and sports, haven’t been injured once in the past year.

Are you getting nocturnal erections?

I get morning wood some mornings, I didn’t at all though a few months back. It’s hard to remember exactly to be honest.

Are your morning erections hard as you’d remember?

I know it’s hard to guage something like that but at least are you harder than when awake?

First all sorry to know you had to go through all these and I hope you recover and heal anytime soon . Have two questions I would like to ask ,did you lose your gains? And did you practice 80-100% erect jelq?

I’d say they’re of a slightly higher quality occasionally, but still not as stiff as I’d like them to be.

I’ve kept all the gains I’ve made, and I would jelq at 60-70%. Sometimes I’d have to stop my session completely because it was impossible to not get to 100%.

Heya Verumque

You don’t have to apologize for the grimness of your post. Your situation is grim enough for you and honesty is a high value. At the age of 18 years, having signs of ED is freaking your mind into a spiral of anxiety. This makes the search for the root cause even more difficult.

But we have some positive indicators: you have morning wood. This is an extremely releaving fact, as it means your penis is from a physiological point of view able to achieve an erection. If you want to be absolutely sure please get a detailed exam at a Urologist, but I am pretty sure that there is no physiological damage.

Then comes PE: you did something new, it worked, and now you have some other symptom that worries you. Your mind automatically connects them because of the time correlation. But there is no proof that what you did as PE routine has caused any type of damage. On the opposite: the probability that the routine you did made a damage is extremely low and the regular symptom of a beginning PE career is higher EQ and often a stronger libido. So unless you tried somehing out which physically injured you and that you did not tell us about yet, I’d simply say skip PE as root cause. Your mind is looking for a scapegoat and takes the first easy one, which in your case is PE.

The second point is duration of erections. You say it’s hard to obtain a 100% erection, more like 80% and then it deflates quickly. That is probably the point where the phenomenon itself starts to feed a vicious circle in your mind. The deflation makes you think you have ED and thinking you may have ED transforms into certitude you actually have ED and that certitude translates physically into a deflating penis. In short words: you have the symptom because you THINK you may have the root cause, and the more you think about it the more you have it. Now breaking that kind of thoughts should not be done by some posts over the internet. There are limitations to what you can get here at TP’s. So have the courage and get some specialised counseling!

The third thing is that you say you had a traumatising event from a separation back in February and even gave up contacts with the two friends with benefits you have. You did not tell in details what that trauma was - even not covered by the anonimity if the internet. That was a very traumatic experience then! And, another indicator, you gave up all possibilities of sex.

That tells to me that you were injured deeply in your feelings of masculinity. That is something you should take very seriously and act on it. The problem is that a emotional injury can, to use a simple picture, create a “deformation” of the state of mind in order to create a workaround. Like (again, just an example, not that you thin I think this is the truth in your case!!!) developing a hate against women. So this is in my eyes the second very strong indicator to seek immediately for professional counseling.

I’m not a physician or a psychologist, but in my humble opinion you should need both and not procrastinate the calls to them. The first for having the certitude that organically everything is OK, and the second for starting to work on the emotional scar!

Warmest regards
