I got into it acouple years back and was on a 4 month type of program. Remember just being past the beginner program. I ended up cutting the PE forum beginner plan in half and doubling it on the timeframe just to be safe but then ended up getting into a breakup. Lost a good bit of motivation and ended up stopping PE. I always remember the injuries people talked about scared me as well so I always took it real slow. I’m a pretty skinny dude and always noticed that if my fingers and toes were cold (from the AC etc) my unit would be damn cold, so I invested in a nice shearling laced pair of sweats on Amazon that always keeps it warm down there for good. Summer or winter, and after workouts they are on.
I’m getting back into these workouts again and I’m doing the same 4 month Beginner program before I do anything advanced (ADS, hanging). Just curious, I do my stretches, jelqs in the shower to stay hot. Granted each week the showers get longer lol but does anyone else do this and how long do you wait in between each set of stretches and jelqs?. Do any of your routines in the shower?, I always viewed it as a great way to keep everything super warm with less overall risk. Also, do any of you moisturize your unit after the shower to enhance elasticity?. I stole my sisters good moisturizers and natural oils, and been using them on my unit and always feel super soft. Don’t know scientifically if doing this everyday would contribute to any amount of gain down the road.
