Hey guys, I am a newcomer to the PE community but have heard about the concept for years. I have decided to take the dive and start off with the newbie routine posted on the beginner thread from luvdadus. I have been following it to a T for the first week, this includes:
5 minutes hot wrap
5 minutes manual stretch (ten 30-second stretches)
10 minutes of jelq (two hundred 3-second strokes)
5 minutes hot wrap
50 kegels of five second holds each
Schedule:2 days ON / 1 day REST
I am going to gradually increase the times for my stretches and wet jelqs over the following weeks. However, I have read somewhere (don’t remember where) that kegels are an essential part of the stretching routine and that some of the biggest gainers in the PE community have used kegels during their stretches. I am not going to attempt including kegels in combination with my stretching until I condition myself to a point where I feel I can handle them. Can anyone attest to the efficacy of kegels during stretching? Essentially, is this the secret for consistent gains? It makes sense to me because it activates the pelvic floor muscles for an even further stretch of the ligaments that cannot be achieved through hand force alone. I am looking to increase length first and work on girth second, as I understand this is easier to achieve after length.
