Progress Report with Setback
Hi everyone. This is my first post here, so I’m hoping I’m doing everything properly.
I’m a 35 year old man with excellent health, consistent gym-goer.
Got started onto PE about six weeks ago but didn’t come at it from Thunders place originally. I started based on general instructional videos which don’t seem to discuss a newbie routine. For the first couple of weeks I jumped in pretty quick to 15-20 minute jelqing sessions at 50-70% erection with a good long warm up (15 mins) of heating pad followed by hot towel, and a warm-down afterward. I started adding in some bathmate experimenting a couple of weeks in. Rest days were every other but I experimented a bit by doing a few days on followed by some off.
My results seemed encouraging: fuller flaccid hang during the day, reduced turtling after workout (a notorious problem for me), and better EQ. My night wood was really hard and my morning wood was great. I usually ALWAYS have night and morning wood but I saw an increase. My erections seemed harder and fuller—although I clocked no length gains. I’m about 7 inches erect and want that magic 8. I figured that improved EQ was a good indicator that growth was on its way.
I may have been overtraining from the start with delayed exhaustion, because during one session I added in some stretches to make it a really long session (hands only, side to side, quite gentle, holding each less than a minute probably). I normally masturbate after a session, because I guess I get a little excited over the prospect of increasing my manhood. After that session I definitely felt like I beat my dick to exhaustion. But I usually go pretty hard so I wasn’t too worried.
I lost my morning and night wood that night! It freaked me out because it has never happened to me. My head first went to chastity cages and the way they can permanently shrink your penis by preventing nightwood when worn for prolonged periods. If I’ve permanently lost night/morning wood, then, I was worried my penis would waste away to nothing! Surely I came to these boards in that team and learned that it was likely overtraining which caused the lack of night/morning wood. So I gave it a rest and within a week my woods were back. During that time my day erections (masturbating) were so-so. Not super hard, and definitely required constant handling to keep up.
So by the time week elapsed in rest-mode, when all seemed normal I started again with a more moderate session of only about 80 jelqs. I think it was about 5-10 mins. Good warm up, good softness level, all of that. The next night I lost my woods again. I assumed I hadn’t given myself long enough recovery. I masturbate daily, and recognize this sets back recovery.
So I gave it almost two weeks off. Still masturbating daily (because c’mon!) but no PE. My woods returned good and hard and my EQ was back up near to when I had started training (which is to say better than my average). I would have the occasional night where my night woods were massively throbbing, which seemed like a borderline bad thing but nothing painful.
Still on my break, I indulged in a typical masturbation session and in my excitement my hands found their way to giving my penis something like a half jelq from mid shaft at full erection. A total no-no, so I snapped out of it immediately and continued with my normal beat (pun intended). I did notice that session that my penis was really hard, nearing towards feeling over-pressured (I can’t recall if this was due to the partial jelq movement or not). My orgasm was really strong, and afterward my member felt really spent. For the rest of the night it felt unusually tired. And then since then my morning and night woods have been lost (it’s been three nights).
So I’m excited to get back into the game, but it seems like I’ve been prolonging my rest period with too much masturbation. I’ve now tried to abstain to give my penis the chance to recover.
Naturally I worry that I’ve broken it for good and of course have myself worried about venous leakage, but am trying to remind myself that my night/morning woods have gone before and came back before.
Any comments would be great! I know this thread seems to borderline on injury (a board which I’m not permitted yet to post on), but thought I could reasonably frame it as a progress report since I’m pretty sure I just need to rest.
So that’s my progress. Not much, but at least enough to know the good side and the not-so-good side to PE.
When I start back up again I think I’ll do something like 30 jelqs alternating days for the first week. I was up to 200 jelqs over 20 minutes previously. I must’ve started at 100.
I think I have a somewhat sensitive penis—since during intercourse (anal, I’m gay) there is no feeling I hate more than getting the slightest bend in my dick—so I never let my partner ride me 😆. I’m hoping PE will improve that for me.
