Siud's PE tryharding
Hey fellas!
After about 2 months of lurking, testing things out & hella lot of reading I’ve decided to start a log.
The main reason being to provide some data for everyone. I can not thank enough to guys like Kyrpa, longerstretch, manko007, igigi and actually everyone sharing their routines, thoughts and insides of what they are doing and what are their results. My approach to the whole PE thing took some many turns that I’ve already lost the count.
As for now I’m into testing methodology based on strain measurement, heat application & 3-phase stretch routine. So far doing extremely low loads as I’m trying to figure out how to take correct measurements of BPFSL and how to properly use my setup before I jump into adding any weights.
As everyone starting out I’m pretty sceptic, but I’m not in a hurry, I will test things out slowly, come into conclusions which I hope will be correct and then share everything in this topic.
ATM I use Vacuum hanging for Phase 1 & 2 and then Vacuum based extending with fixed length for cooling in stretch. Only 2 days into 1st cycle so I will not share anything yet until I make sure my measurements are quite repeatable and I feel confident with what I’m doing. I will try to come up with correct weights for me by rating the strain after each workout and then checking if I gain anything after 2-3 full 5 day cycles (and how much if I actually do).
Also I have an idea on modifying my extender to have detailed force measurement in all phases of stretching but I still need some parts to collect and with my schedule it will take some time. The goal is to test another period strictly using stress-relaxation in all phases, applying desired force and then waiting until relaxation occurs, before applying it once again which will eliminate the creep that is used during hanging. Obviously will share it later on if it works.
So far I am patient, testing stuff & enjoying reading informational threads. Ultimate goal is to make gains with as little effort and work as possible and make them sustainable, not rushing into things. If I don’t succeed, that is fine too as I still prefer that rather than getting injured.
Cheers!
