About how lean were you when your fat pad was around .375? I plan on stopping my cut at 10% bodyfat. Mainly to have a visible outline of abs without flexing. When I started my bulk I was at 10-11% abs were visible all the time, arms and legs had crazy vascularity and some striations.
Currently I’m at 16-17% and my abs are not visible unless I’m starved and dehydrated, but I still have strong definition and vascularity in my extremities.
But you may store fat different. Here are a few examples:
My PL coach is 13% body fat. He has visible abs and muscle definition on his entire body at all times, but no crazy vascularity or striations. He stores body fat pretty much equally throughout his entire body.
My diet coach is 12% body fat. His abs look completely ripped at all times, but at 15% body fat they were visible at all times. His extremities have good definition but his pecs and upper back look soft. He stores body fat in his upper torso.
So for you it really just depends on where you store fat. A certain %bf will look different on everyone.
