Hi All.

I played around with PE on again/off again during the last decade, and have seen some decent gains, but about a month ago I got serious and decided it was time to make the commitment that I needed for real growth. After all, I’ve worked out at the gym 6 days a week for the last 18 years, so I know that I should be able to do this.

I have a question for everyone who’s been doing this for a while.

I had a great workout today, jelqing and Bathmate. Really full and great pump. About two to three hours later I felt really tired. The kind of tired you feel after, say, a killer leg workout. Just yawning a lot and just weak and tired and just want to take a nap. I’ve never experienced it before and I had a good night’s sleep and I’m not stressed, so I figured it has to be related to the PE somehow.

I also feel like after great session I get really hungry too. I know we’re not working out a true muscle in the way we work out, say, arms (though I’ve read about the smooth muscle workouts on here) but man I get hungry. Yeah, there’s damage and the body craves protein and calories to repair, but I couldn’t imagine that the caloric and rest requirements rivaled what I used to feel when I ran 20 miles or biked 100.

Has anyone else here ever experienced that? Just curious.

I’ve really just experienced fatigue in my actual penis. At least I don’t think PE has caused my body to be tired. Since I’ve changed my diet to high protein/fiber/fat and cut grains and carbs my energy level stays pretty high.

I can imagine that after 18 years of dedicated gym work, your mind will have an engrained response of feeling tired and going into recovery after anything you consider workout. It may just be that you’re responding to this new stimulus the only way your body understands; with it’s post workout reflex. Much like most beginners get erections when doing PE because normally one is desired for hands-on activity. So it may be a habitual thing, though I’m speculating here. If nothing seems wrong and the fatigue persists as you get used to more PE get a professional medical opinion, you never know when something else is showing of course. Good luck!

Other than PE, did something else changed in your day-by-day routine?

If you don’t enjoy doing PE, this could happen. Your mind could be focusing just on results and noticing you are not having fun, while doing PE.

So, this morning I woke up and just felt like crap, like a cold is coming on. I think that the whole feeling of tiredness was a function of me starting to get sick and the stress of the workout just wiped me out. It seems to simply have been a precursor to getting a cold. I figure that the energy spent on my morning (non-PE) workout, combined with my long PE workout and some sort of virus (cold) was just a lot of stress on the body. I’m newer to this, so I hadn’t experienced that before, but I have experienced it maybe two or three times in the last two decades when doing regular workouts. Essentially, it was just a perfect storm of timing and it now makes sense, in hindsight (which always seems easier).
