Vurpollon's Routine
After three months with the newbie routine (to which I gradually added more jelqing, the last weeks I did 20 minutes of wet or dry jelqing) I took up clamping (mid-march 2007).
I started out very carefully, three or four 4 minute sets two days the first week. The amount of stretching and jelqing was the same as before. After three weeks I had established a routine that worked for me: 5 minutes warmup with a rice sock, 5 to 7 minutes manual stretching (I used to stretch in the bathtub, but that chafed my skin), at least 10 but never more than 15 minutes of wet or dry jelqing (at a low erection level for length), 25 minutes of clamping divided up in sets that varied in length between 4 and 10 minutes (I just watched my dick closely and stopped when something felt or looked strange), 5 minutes warmdown in the bathtub.
I did this routine monday through thursday for a couple of months, but dropped the clamp when my gains seemed to have stopped. Then I just did maintenance jelqing and stretching until the beginning of july 2007, when I ordered a vacuum pump. At the moment I’m doing the start-up routine outlined in avocet’s excellent thread “Vacuum pumping 101”.
I really like pumping. It feels a lot safer than clamping, and I can see the gains coming almost as during my newbie period. (I know they’re temporary so far, but if I keep on pumping they will get permanent.)
